Nvram Battery Discharge Below Rated Voltage: Point of Detection Application
Nvram Battery Discharge Below Rated Voltage: Point of Detection Application
[Meaning] When the voltage of NVRAM battery in DOC-200 PCB is below 2V. [Actions to take]
1. With power OFF, separate battery connect to DOC-200
PCB and measure the voltage with voltmeter.
If the voltage is below DC 2V, replace the
battery which is over-discharged.
2. After replacing battery(this time, correctly
position poles), input power again and check any
error occurrence.
[Explanation]
* How to check battery voltage
With battery still fitted to connector, contact Lead Pin of test equipment
(e.g. DMM) on GND Test Pin(TP16) and Battery Housing's red wire pin(+).
Or With +5[V] power applied, separate battery from connector and check the
voltage with test equipment such as DMM, etc..
1) Normal: +3.6±2[V]
2) Battery Housing's red wire : "+", black wire : "-"(GND)
