1. What happened to the alpha particles when they hit the gold foil?

Result 1: When they shoot the alpha particles they saw a flash behind the
gold foil, the alpha particles are going through the atoms of the gold foil
and are ending up behind it.

Result 2: When they shoot the alpha particles rapidly, they saw different
outcome of directions due to the bouncing of it completely all the way
back.

Result 3: The alpha particle emitter ( a gun or tool that they used)
whenever they hit the gold foil, they concluded that it will veer to the sides
and bounced at almost a 180 degrees and flashes over.

2. The particles that governs electric charges states that likes changes repel
and unlike charges attract. Based on this,

A. What electric charge could have induced Result 1?

Based on Rutherford’s experiment he comes up with a different idea of an

inside of the plum-pudding atom and states that there is a hard dense
nucleus “positive charge” and says that the electrons are spinning around
but, the nucleus still stays at it’s place and the nucleus is made of protons
that has each positive charges.

B. What do you think happened in Result 2?

For me, I think what happened to Result 2 is that whenever they shoot the
alpha articles into the gold foil rapidly or continuously, changing of
directions is an outcome that was confirmed and I think that numerous
flashes were driving away in every directions so the result would be
exceedingly full of brightness and luminosity.
C. What electric charge could have induced Result 3?

In Result 3 It has a positive charge for the reason that they shoot alpha
particles continuously and it has a very large number of protons that
exceeds the number of electrons and for that, this was all created by a
neutral charge going on in result 3.
