Question 1 Our natural resources are depleting day by day.

How do you sustain our


resources at home and outside? Resources are Water, Energy, Forest resources.

Answer 1 By doing ten basic things, at home and outside, we can preserve our resources

1. Reduce, recycle, and reuse. Cut back to what you are tossing away. To preserve natural
resources and landfill space, follow the three "R's."

2. Volunteer. Volunteer. In your neighborhood, volunteer for cleanups. We should get


interested in our watershed safety, too.

3. Educate. Educate We will help people realize the relevance and significance of our
natural capital as we develop our education.

4. Save more water. The less water we use, the less runoff and wastewater that eventually
end up in the ocean.

5. Choose sustainable. Smartly shop.

6. Purchase less plastic and carry a reusable grocery cart.

7. Using long-lasting light bulbs. Energy effective light bulbs decrease emissions of
greenhouse gases. Flip off the light switch as we leave the room as well!

8. Plant a tree. Trees provide food and oxygen. They help save energy, clean the air, and
help combat climate change.

9. Don't send chemicals into our waterways. Choose non-toxic chemicals in the home and
office.

10. Bike more. Drive less.
