Brice’s Wellness Warm-ups: An Intentional

Introspective Approach

Introduction

What makes a balanced warm-up?


How do we practice mindfulness?

Mindfulness Checkpoints

-Mental Check In (pencil and paper)


Write three bullet points about how you are feeling mentally.

-Physical Check In (pencil and paper)


Write three bullet points about how you are feeling physically.

-Popcorn Effect Check In (pencil and paper for entire presentation.)


Random thoughts that may cloud your mind, jot them down on
paper and allow yourself to return to them later.

(Popcorn Effect – Thoughts positive or negative that begin to “pop” into our
consciousness and consume our thoughts and potentially our mood.)

Breathing Exercises

-Sit comfortably on floor or mat.


* You may inhale or exhale with nose or mouth

-Metronome on 50 bpm
