Hello,

I am Pranamita. Born in Kolkata, India and currently


living inAmsterdam, Netherlands.

I am a UX Designer, currently with an experience of 2


years as a freelance designer and 1.5 years of working
on conceptualizing and building digital products for
Gaming, EduTech companies, design studios.

I like to create ease of use and aesthetically pleasant


interfaces by analyzing the user behavior and needs
and researching the best way to create usable and
delightful products

When I am not designing, travelling to new places,


different cuisines, dance, museums and music keeps

We see an increasing number of examples where


citizens use physical means to protect themselves
from said technologies. Counter-Surveillance Project Partner

Culture (CSC) offers a unique glimpse into the values


of modern-day citizens. CSC uses creative, often Bits of Freedom
critical, security measures to protect the identity of
individual citizens.

Our project aimed at understanding the culture


around CSC. To build an interactive platform that
encourages users to think about the ethical
questions concerning physical cybersecurity.

Outcome

The platform was well received during Digital

WordWars

Solitaire
Overview

The goal was to identify target users for


casual(word) games and come up with player
personas specific to the games. The player persona
was aimed to summarize the player’s background,
motivations, goals, and needs.

For WordWars, which was being revamped, it was


beneficial for the team to develop a mental picture of
the user segment and proceed with game features
that would have seamless experience.

For Solitaire, the goal was to identify players than


can be onboarded to the word game platform via
card game platform.

Outcome

WordWars since its revamp in 2020 has ranked


among the top multiplayer word games.

The personas was used for reference by the game


designer, product team as well as the marketing
team.

WordTrip
Overview

The store screen feature was released 6 months


prior. The expected upside on player activity and
purchase on the platform was not succesful.

My task was to improve on the player experience for


the feature and come up with design iterations for
the feature which were to be released as variants for
A/B testing (for android and IOS)

The same feature was to be launched for sister


game WordTrip.

Outcome

As of 2020, the feature was released with 2 variants


on all platforms. The revamp was sucessful as it
resulted in 14% increase player purchase
rate(expected increase was 7%).

The feature has also been launched for WordTrip


recently.

Cuemath Diagnostic Test

Overview

I worked with Cuemath, an education and learning


start-up, working in a research and inquiry-based
approach, tailored towards building mathematics
aptitude.

I was responsible for designing an effective


program of assessment, evaluation and reporting

system for the student. My research involved


understanding the student, teacher and parents’
approach towards the child’s learning capabilities of
the subject. The platform was mobile and web
based.

This project was also my case study for my Master’s


thesis.

Outcome

The Cuemath Diagnostic Test was successfully


launched in August 2019 and has been taken by

over 35,000 students in India since its relaunch. The


CDT application has been used by over 8000
teachers to evaluate students and create curriculum
plan.

CDT was recently launched for USA, Australian


platform.

During my Masters, some of my projects included


inclusive strategies for classrooms, user research UX Case Study

and service design for mental health and wellness Strategies for primary

among young students, user research and case classrooms


study on Anganwadi (Indian government daycare
centres for the underprivileged) and Anganwadi
workers, inclusive board game experience.

The research work and design development of these


projects helped me to not only develop a deeper
sense of empathy but also made my approach to
understanding users methodical and well
structured.
