USAGE
Isodomus is used for roof of residential buildings or in industrial sector with ships placed in urban areas. It can be used
to perform building roofs of new construction, as well as to replace obsolete roofs.

CHARACTERISTICS
The way it imitates the roof tile makes this panel very particular, providing a high aesthetic value that fits perfectly to residential
and rural sectors. The tongue-and-groove is done using visible trough-fastened scew with posibility of using visible junction
anchors, quantity and position of the screws must guarantee the overload resistances. This range of roof panels is characterized
by its high chromatic solution; tonalities have been specially developed wich simulate the traditional roof.

ADVANTAGES
The Isodomus panel in polyisocianurate rigid foam allows a thermal insulation, it is a functional panel thanks to its quick and easy
installation, besides thanks to its roof tile design can satisfy the needs of the landscaping standards.

Ÿ Arquitechtural quality • Versatility

Guide to Choose the right Prepainted Product

A pre-lacquered steel product is composed by a steel sheet metal coated zinc based, by a treatment of the surface of
the inner face paint primer and a paint layer for external finish.

1 Polyisocianurate rigid foam 6 Galvanized

2 Internal face paint 7 Previous treatment
3 Previous treatment 8 Primer paint
4 Galvanized 9 nternal face paint

COATING SUPPORTS AND CHOICE TO USE

The final user and/or Architect/Design Manager must be advised about choosing the key features of the panel and its
metallic faces as indicated in catalogue “Choice of prepainted”.
The choice of the organic coating and its color have to be done considering the final use of the product.

Corrosion Chemical Attack Condensation UV Rays Abrasion

THE TWO METAL FACES

The Architect/Design Manager must consider that the two faces of the panel will be in contact with two
significantly different enviroments. External face will be in contact with the pollutants present in the atmosphere,
with, sun, and solar spectrum UV rays witch, in addition to raising the temperature of the external metal face,
will cause a physical-chemical action on the organic coating. Internal face will have a temperature significantly
lowe thanks to thermal insulation of the panel, since it will not be affected by the UV rays action and direct
atmospheric agents action but it will have to face the internal environment and the pollutants of production lines,
condensations, chemical agentes used in the washes and by the vapors. A totally different environment to the external.

49
In this way, the user must consider all these aspects before deciding the type of panel and specially the
type of steel sheet and painting. The choice of panel should be made on the basis of some considerations such
as required durability relative to the environments where the product will be installed, the aesthetic aspect and
economic value. A wide range of metal supports are provided by IsoCindu, for example:

1) Hot zinc steels, zinc-aluminized steels, pre-lacquered steels. 2) Natural aluminum or pre-lacquered, copper, stainless
steel.

Pre-painted panel laminates

Pre-painted laminates can be supplied on metal support in hot zinc steel or on aluminum

General Considerations: Pre-painted panel laminates contribute decisively to the panel structural features,
thanks to the quality of the steels used and they guarantee the action of insulating mass protection providing
the panel and the building with unique aesthetic characteristics such as color, aesthetic value over time.
Environmental changes in relation to the increase of the industrial emanations and the urban pollution
have made necessary the superior resistance to metals corrosion, for this reason there are different
solutions for each need.

LEED BD+C V4

What is LEED®

LEED® (Leadership in Energy Environmental Design) is a

certification system for the management, design and construction of
buildings that are sustainable from a social, environmental and eco-
nomic point of view and in terms of the wellbeing of the users.
Established in the United States in 1993 by the U.S. Green Building
Council (USGBC), LEED is now the most widespread building sustain-
ability certification standard in the world. It considers every field that
involves the design and management of buildings or neighbourhoods,
both commercial and residential new or undergoing requalification.

Isopan insulating panels contribute satisfying

prerequisites and credits under LEED ®.
Energy efficiency and savings are the guiding concepts to Isopan
production management as well as our commitment to the research
and development of innovative solutions. Our insulating panels for
