As a "high flex" teacher you will be responsible to check for understanding throughout the

lesson. How can formative assessment be used before, during, and after a lesson to ensure
student success? Select one "old school" strategy and locate one digital tool. Use the digital tool
to create the formative assessment you would use. Explain how and when you

One old school strategy that I decided to use is collaboration. I think collaboration really helps
students be able to share ideas and work together to make sure everyone understands a
problem. For this reason, I decided to do an engagement activity, as well as a formative
assessment with Classcraft. I really like this program because I can allow students to work
together at their own pace and still have them check in with me or others before moving on to
the next question. I would use this as a daily tool so that the students do not get bored of simply
