HIMANSHU SRIVAS

NAME :HIAMSNHU SRIVAS

ROLL NO:18

SECTION “A”
I’m Himanshu srivas here I’m going to discuss about
my dream project:

I want to do business in education field.it is my

dream to open school in my home town. This dream
came in my mind when I was in 12th at that time I
always thought about study and I was very
interested in study only except cricket. why I chose
school project in katni because katni is my home
where I get resource easily like land in less amount
because it’s very small town of Madhya Pradesh. IN
my home town Katni there is very less amount
schools. Just because of less amount school in katni
that’s why I want open school there because lack of
competition there.

Introduction:
Education is very vast field as we know that
education is field which will never end in future .As
we know that no one will stop study in future too.
Most of the people want to give education their
children. Everyone knows that education is very
essential part to make future and give good
direction and make their future bright.

CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION-

THE FIRST THING I JUST LIKE TO TELL THAT THEIR IS “NO
CRITERIA” FOR ADMISSION BECAUSE ACOORDING TO ME THIS
IS THEIR FIRST STAGE SO FIRST WE HAVE TO TEACH THEM THIS
IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY.
SCHOOL WILL BE AFFILIATED TO THE C.B.S.E. BOARD SO WE
HAVE TO FULL FILL THEIR REQUIREMENTS TOO.AT ATARTING IT
WILL BE FROM PRE-NURSURY TO CLASS 8th.
ACCORDING TO THEIR IS SIGNIFICANCE TAKING TEST OR
INTERVIEW OF CHILD AND PARENTS FOR TAKING ADMISSION
OF THEIR WARDS.PARENTS CAME TO ADMIT THERE CHILD FOR
THE GROWTH OF THEIR CHILD.
THIS PROJECT ALSO INVOLVES POOR CHILDRENS WHO ARE
WILLING TO STUDY BUT THEY ARE UNABLE TO JOIN SCHOOL
BECAUSE OF THERE POOR BACKGROUND THEY WILL GET SOME
EXTRA HELP FROM THE SCHOOL TO GET THEIR DREAM ACHIEVE
THAT IS WHAT I WANT GIVE MY COUNTRY AS A CITIZEN OF MY
COUNTRY.IF THE CHILD HAS SOME THING GOOD THEN THEY
HAVE BORN TO TOUCH THE SKY.

CHILDREN’S ACADEMIA :

Children academia provide younger students (usually ages 8-13)

with a nurturing environment that fosters learning, community,
and interaction, and offer students the opportunity to build the
confidence they need to reach their true potential.

Features of Children’s Academia:

Many junior schools serve students from Pre-K to eighth grade,
while others only serve children between the ages of eight and
13. Children’s academia offer students the opportunity to build
the confidence they need to reach their potential both
academically and personally. The discipline and academic rigor
required at many of the schools is valuable preparation for
highly selective colleges.

Student Body:
Children’s academia is a co-ed. They have an average class size
of 20 students. The average size of a Children’s academia will
usually under 320 students. Life at Children’s Academia
Schools it will be great fun for the students because the
techniques adopted here for teaching are just different from
others.

Plan:
Initially I will establish only katni town latter on I’ll
spread it through out India. I’ll locate near my home
where my own land and that land is in main city where
lots of people lives there because my land is in main city
of katni, and there is vast majority of children too. Just
because of it will be main city then probability would be
increase to join school in that particular area. Everything
will available near that school like hospital, stationary,
transportation etc. all things could easily attract to parents
for their child. Most of the parents don’t send their child
to that school which far from their home because of
distance. If I talk about myself when I was started my
schooling my mom could send to me kendriya vidalya
(C.B.S.C.E), but she send me in st.paul school just
because of distance and I couldn’t do my study with
C.B.S.C.E course. Distance is biggest factor in parents’
mind that is why I’ll open my school in main city where
maximum children can reach in short time.
These schools use the local language as the primary
method of communication, because the children they
minister to have little or no understanding of English.
There will be two medium Hindi or English.

BASIC REQUIREMENT:

 PLACE-Katni (Ambedkar ward , Katni),(M.P.)

 AREA-20,000 SQ FT

 INFRASTRUCTURE-UPTO 1ST FLOOR

SWIMMING POOL.
PLAY GROUND:

 SCIENCE LAB

 FACULTY-10

 STAFF-8

 FURNITURE

 EQUIPMENTS- KITS

GAMES
PROJECTORS etc.

 CLASS STRENGTH-40 STUDENTS EACH CLASS

SECURITY GUARDS
DOCTOR.
ARRANGEMENT OF CAPITAL:
INITIALLY I WILL GO FOR ONLY ONE SCHOOL BUT IT ALSO
NEEDS A HUGE CAPITAL FOR THAT I WILL GO FOR SOME LOAN
FROM BANK AND I WILL ALSO ASK FROM GOVERNMENT FOR
LOAN ON CHEAPER INTREST RATES.

Actually up to 10 to 15 years I’ll do job and I’ll save

money for my business that money I’ll use. Except this I’ll
take money from my mummy she is doing government
job and she’ll help me financially. She continually saves
money for me for my future because I’m only son.
I know that at initially stage I’ll face the problem but I
know that by my hard work and full effort toward my
dream will give success in future.

How will I make my dream come true:

Time Required: About Two Years

1. Identify Your Niche :

Firstly I’ll determine what kind of school the local market needs
probably it’ll take 12 month. As in early stage I’m going to start
nursery to class 8th so for this I’ll ask some question to parents
and teacher know opinion about my school. By this I can get
data from them and I can make plan.
I will hire a marketing company to do a survey. It will help you
focus your efforts.
Once when I’ll determine all facts for what kind of school
I’ll be opening then after I’ll decide what type of decision I
should implement for particular situation. My long range plans
may call for a K-12 school, but it makes more sense to start
small and grow solidly. Establish the primary division, and then I
will add the upper grades over time as my resources permit.

2. Form a Committee: 24 months’ will Form a small committee

of talented supporters to begin the preliminary work. Include
parents with financial, legal, management and building
experience. Ask for and get a commitment of time and financial
support from each member. This important planning work
which will demand much time and energy. These people can
become the core of my first board of directors.
Co-opt additional paid talent, to guide me through the various
challenges, indeed, road blocks, which will inevitably confront
me.

3. Incorporate 18 months:
File incorporation papers with my Secretary of State. The
lawyer on your committee should be able to handle this for me.
There are costs associated with the filing, but he should donate
his legal services to the cause.
This is a critical step in my long term fund raising. People will
give money much more readily to a legal entity or institution as
opposed to a person.
4. Develop a Business Plan 18 months:
Develop a business plan. This should be a blue print of how the
school is going to operate over its first five years. If I have been
lucky enough to find a donor to fund the program in its entirety
or some help.
5. Develop a Budget 18 months:

Develop a budget for 5 years. This is the detailed look at

income and expenses. The financial person on my committee
should be responsible for developing this critical document. As
always project my assumptions conservatively and factor in
some wriggle room should things go wrong.

I need to develop two budgets: an operating budget and a

capital budget. For example, a swimming pool or an arts facility
would fall under the capital side, while planning for social
security expenses would be an operating budget expense.
Where I seek expert advice.

6. Find a Home 20 months:

I will locate a facility to house the school or develop building
plans if you will be creating your own facility
From scratch. My architect and contractor committee members
should spearhead this assignment.

Schools require good locations for many reasons, not the least
of which is safety. Older buildings can be money pits.
Investigate modular buildings which will be greener as well.
7. Tax Exempt Status 16 months:

Apply for tax exempt 501(c)(3) statuses from the IRS. Again, my
lawyer can handle this application. Submit it as early in the
process as i can so that i can begin to solicit tax deductible
contributions.

People and businesses will definitely look upon my fund raising

efforts much more favorably if you are a recognized tax-exempt
organization.
Tax exempt status might also help with local taxes as well,
though I do recommend my paying local taxes whenever or
wherever possible, as a gesture of goodwill.
8. Choose Key Staff Members 16 months:

Head of School and my Business Manager. Conduct your search

as widely as possible. Write job descriptions for these and all
my staff and faculty positions. My will be looking for self-
starters who enjoy building something from scratch.

Once IRS approvals are in place, hire the head and the business
manager. They need the stability and focus of a steady job to
get your school open. I need their expertise to ensure an
opening on time.
9. Solicit Contributions 14 months:
I will Secure initial funding - donors and subscriptions. I will
need to plan my campaign carefully so that i can build
momentum, yet are able to keep pace with actual funding
needs.

Appoint a dynamic leader from your planning group to ensure

the success of these initial efforts. Bake sales and car washes
are not going to yield the large amount of capital which I will
need. Well-planned appeals to foundations and local
philanthropists will pay off. I will hire a professional to help me
write proposals and identify donors.
10. Identify Your Faculty Requirements 14 months:

It is critical to attract skilled faculty. Do so by agreeing on

competitive compensation. Sell them on the vision of your new
school. The chance to shape something is always appealing.
While it is still over a year until I open, line up as many faculty
as I can. Do not leave this important job until the last minute.
11. Spread the Word 14 months:

I advertise for students. Promote the new school through

service club presentations and other community groups. Design
a website and set up a mailing list to keep interested parents
and donors in touch with my progress.
Marketing of my school is something which has to be done
consistently, appropriately and effectively. If you can afford it,
hire an expert to get this important job done.
12. Open for Business 9 months:

I will Open the school office and begin admissions interviews

and tours of your facilities. January before a fall opening is the
latest you can do this.

Ordering instructional materials, planning curricula and devising

a master timetable are just some of the tasks your
professionals will have to attend to.
13. Orient and Train Your Faculty 1 month:

Have faculty in place to get school ready for opening. The first
year at a new school requires endless meetings and planning
sessions for the academic staff. Get my teachers on the job no
later than August 1 in order to be prepared for opening day.
14. Opening Day:

Make this a soft opening at which I welcome my students and

any interested parents at a brief assembly. Then off to classes.
Teaching is what my school will be known for. It needs to begin
promptly on Day 1.

The formal opening ceremonies should be a festive occasion.

Schedule it for a few weeks after the soft opening. Faculty and
students will have sorted themselves out by then. A feeling of
community will be apparent. The public impression which my
new school will make will be a positive one. Invite local,
regional and state leaders.
Stay Informed. Join national and state private school
associations. I will find incomparable resources. The networking
opportunities for my and my staff are virtually limitless. Plan on
attending association conferences in year 1 so that my school is
visible

What I Need for all that which I described above:

 A Planning Committee
 A Head of School

 A Business Manager

 A Business Plan

 Dynamic, effective fund raising

 Professional marketing

MARKET COMPETITORS-
1. St. Paul school
2. Bardsley school
3. Kendriya vidalya
