Format for submitting the demand of industrial water

required for the establishment of industry in Jharkhand

3. Feasibility report of the industrial unit reflecting the information on:

(copy of the feasibility report on water availability may also be
appended)

(i) Demand of water for establishment of the industry: m3/day

(ii) Demand of water for municipal and

(supporting calculation for quantifying

the demand of water)

(iii) Total demand of water: m3/day

(iv) Phasing of water requirement of the industrial unit as well as the

demand for municipal and drinking water starting from zero period of
the project to completion of construction activity, commissioning and
operation & production stage indicating the time in years/ months:

(v) Phasing of water requirement of the industrial unit for

each stage ( if the industrial unit is to be set up in stages)

(vi) Whether recycling plant for reuse of water has been proposed:

(a) if yes, what is the quantum of savings in water demand

expected: m3/day
(b) if not, specify the reason for not providing the recycling plant:

(vii) Whether affluent treatment plant has been proposed for ensuring
safe disposal affluent into the river, if yes, provide the full
specification:

A formal request for placing the demand of industrial water may be

submitted to the Secretary, Water Resources Department, Govt. of
Jharkhand, Nepal House, Dorand, Ranchi-834 002 by enclosing the
above prescribed format duly filled in and signed by the authorised
signatory of the industrial unit
