AN may bounce then short. This really wants to go lower.NZD is severely undersold but I don't think it will stay that way.

haters.
One in particular decided to devote more time on my every post then actually trading!
Best you can do is ignore the haters and do what works for you.If pivots don't work for you then find something that does. Its as simple as that.
cheers
Most errors trading my system is not system related but trader's psychological issues number 1 not able to follow instruction.
Getting in early when the price is not in the zone 61-100 getting in without regard to what PA is doing. Not closing obvious losers early etc. These issues
are beyond my system and its a behavioral problem.Sometimes bad habits carried over from other systems etc. This is not unique but very common
problem in trading in general.Takes real effort to follow instruction and you must work on yourself. No system can help if you are unable to follow
instruction.

Hi guys, I red the thread in 3 days and i tried it on my live account - Looks good, i watched also the DVD of Mr Douglas. My problem is with the Template
and the TDI indicator! They are almost frozen! so i can not see dynamic angles or arrows on the lower right box or the dynamic currency value on
the top right side.. ADR is always 75.9 %, Angle is frozen at 28° :/ sth is weird there... can any body help? Thanks in advance PS: DLL is checked
{image}
hi
Its very unlikely you read this thread entirely because had you actually read it then you would of found the solution since I posted it several times in the
past.

You are not scoring points on me.
Here is the solution however also keep in mind weekends market is closed and anglator depends on volatility to move.
make sure your anglator properties correct TDI is filled
Make sure you downloaded all the indicators in proper indicator folder and refreshed metatrader.Price number frozen also means market is closed
now. That is obvious!Wait until market opens!

{quote} DAVIT! thank you very much it works!!! i did not install all the indicators that was the issue... May be you ll hate this question but it might be
good for new members to find how to identify Properly Signals from the indicators (CROSSLINE/Angle/ADR..) and a clear statement about that because
pivots have really a success rate!! and everybody here has special opinion or behavior or interpretation toward the issue. PA is King that is clear, but if
you write 2 or 3 sentences about your interpretation to sharp angle? and the cross point in the...
can you tell us little about you and your experience in trading please since you only have 2 post at ff

AC is setting up nicely. UJ be cautious since London and NY not open yet and market makers footprints are unknown as to Trump tax pass and latest
political fiasco on Flynn
We don't know yet how market will react to these events.Huge gap on UJ which might close down but again it could shoot lot higher.
I advise wait for larger volume markets to open.

{quote} sorry Davit.....but did you really mean C...or should it be D?
EC dropped 1 wave so if you want to sell more wait for bounce which
will be C then down to D then up.
D is usually end of the swing. This is general.I never enter end of the
wave tips.Always wait for bounce. This is trading 101 sell the rallies

Jim is correct. My system does not take divergence as criteria for anything. "confirmation" is in PA and rest of the indicators on the template.
Likica TMS30 in system thread trades lots of divs perhaps you should join them. Not saying its valid or invalid just I don't trade it.

If this was real money you could of move SL to protect profits.Something I do often
worst thing you can do is turn profitable trades into losers.Minimum you move SL to Break even

Good morning all, its 9:33am all the way in Warri, Nigeria. Hope you guys are killing it with this fantastic system?. {image}
and did you get out? or waited until all your profits gone
Just remember guys time is a factor in trading. Not every trades becomes profitable right away.Weekly pivots mean a week is not unreasonable to hold
and I have held trades lot longer then that.
Don't be afraid of spikes. Its the way large orders get filled hitting stops triggering liquidity. You must be smarter and be patient.

{quote} I'm glad you brought this up Davit. I have no problem giving a trade time to become profitable, but I have many times given it too much time to
become MORE profitable and ended up giving back a good chunk before getting out. Something I am working on for sure. I think a contributing factor is
that I am trading a micro account and greed definitely plays a role...holding onto a trade for 2-3 days just to close for the price of a happy meal just
doesnt sit well. Lol. I can see that if I would set greed aside and just be disicplined those happy...
its a constant challenge because some trades go into a range and some trend.Hard to tell how that might unfold.Best you can do is take profits at
reasonable levels.
Example AC hit WP but could not break higher so I got out because it was obvious that range is in the cards.Lot of these is having spend more screen
time. Some things its the only way to learn.

"FORGET ABOUT REVERSALS - that is top and bottom trading which only LOSERS trade!"
The whole statement is idiotic. Entire market is basically based on reversals and different time zones have their own mini reversals.
In basic trading only way to make money is when you buy low and price goes higher and you sell price goes lower. Now think about that.Had price not
reverse you would've not made money.I find it interesting that lot of traders have such narrow vision.
Mr Pip Scott myself CNtrader and many others do exactly that trade reversal waves SUCCESSFULLY!

Thank you! @davit Please name your favorite charity I like to donate 10% of my winnings. As a small token of appreciation. Cheers Five fundamental
truths: 1. Anything can happen. 2. You don’t need to know what is going to happen next in order to make money. 3. There is a random distribution
between wins and losses for any given set of variables that define an edge. 4. An edge is nothing more than an indication of a higher probability of one
thing happening over another. 5. Every moment in the market is unique. – Mark Douglas {image} {image}

{quote} Reversals work, the problem is that people get taught the reversals wrongly without understanding the correct ones to get into, they dont
understand why its reverses, if a reversal loses steam, if it is the correct reversal to get into, THE FULL MECHANICS!!... people want the easy route..so
they try and get into every reversal pattern right at the start of it, its not always their fault...they are usually taught by people who have no success
themselves so how are they supposed to know how to properly trade?
there is truth in what you are saying but I would not say every reversal trader is a loser.

Hi
If you think its a good trade and fits this system then go ahead asking if you should trade or not is almost irrelevant because after correct signals rest is
probability.Nobody knows the future.
You should of spotted your pivots are way off.Correct that 1st

skilled negotiator and then decided to join a tribe. Newbies coming in are just trying to figure out who to learn from. Right now, there is Davit, strat, and
Emmanuel. None of these camps are on good terms but there are good traders in all of these camps. How do you know this Jim? Because I have a large

There are also CNtrader Scott Mrpip and more although they don't

{quote} I agree, but Harmonic traders are like Gann traders. The first charts they post and the average newbies is running for the hills. You have kept it
simple enough for the average trader to get on track and be on the right side of the market. Afterwards, they can start making projections, from your
templates you are getting ready to venture into that realm.

Japanese candles are indicators. Open close body.I hear this all the
time and basically is false.Question is how many indicators you need.I
find what works for me.
Others prefer just 1 indicator candles however using fib tools is also an
indicator.I am not elitist when it comes to indicators use them only
what you need but don't clutter the chart with 5 oscillators all saying
the same thing or have 15 MA's and price hitting randomly on any of it
and this person thinks that was intentional. It was not. When you have
so many MA's price will hit one or 2 almost all the time.
Price moves independent of any MA that is big boys moving price are
hardly looking at that as a reason but knowing where 80% retail stops
are then we got different perspective.

looking at weekly rejected candle this might shoot up.AUD has been
beaten up too much in my view for failing GDP Q/Q from .07 to .06
Not huge deal breaker.

Bigger story is earnings down. This may delay Dec rate hike to 2018
True story is that people work longer at times 2 jobs and make less
money. Now we are heading higher interest rates on top of it.Feds are
very sensitive to earnings my guess would be Dec no hike.

{quote} Not good. If the fed does not hike, it will be an admission that our econ has been smoke and mirrors. The markets may go off the cliff. I have
noticed significant strength in the CHF pairs generally. We could get some big trend moves. Might be time to reduce size.

Just be aware trading CHF is basically trading EU however you pay far
more swap! and bigger spread
-.75 IR on CHF makes this currency not tradeable.

You are removed from this thread.I suggest stop trading my system!and Stop posting at TMS about my thread. You obviously lack experience and fail
to follow direction.I have in numerous times stated NOT to trade hyper pairs but obviously that flew out of your head.I think its best you severe all
connection to this system!
This is to all new traders.Read the disclaimer! minimum 2yr experience in forex. If you trade this system its on your own risk but you will be removed I
am good at spotting people with no experience.
I am always suspicions of people praising me in short notice by few winning trades then vanishing and at times swim into a troll reality.
I have no control about these scenarios manifesting in public forum. One guy whom I put on ignore actually started a thread trolling about me...

I recommend not trading USD pairs until Feds major event. If you do
you are on your own risk.
Market can react many different ways.Rate increase does not mean
automatic USD strength it depends how much rate is already priced in
and what Feds project next year.I rather stay sidelines until dust
clears.Plenty of opportunists on crosses.

When you see a pair close or on WP wait until it gets in the zone otherwise you might be early way early.
EC has potential to move north which I am incline to believe but it could go south.Draghi speaking today and he might effect this pair and all Euro pairs.

{quote} Davit, your FOMC point noted down for myself. This news does have huge impact on the trading decision. Also as per above statement, my
understanding is pair needs to be first reaching or around WP in current week and then if deviates to any zone 68 or 79...then it has more chances of
reversal... In the beginning on week itself, if pair starts from any zone, then it is not considered. Or every week start, pair always starts from fresh pivot
points around WP.
No that's not what I was saying. You can buy or sell below and above
WP from the "zone" once it reaches WP often either it stalls reverses or
breaks and continues. WP is basically an equilibrium and I often don't
trade from it because it can go either direction.
good example of CAD not able to break WP and this chart to me is
automatic no trade.Price is in limbo area.
Often inexperienced new traders or even experienced bad traders get
in close to or on WP not even knowing (mostly trading MA systems)
and get whip saw and accumulate losses.Beauty of this system is
it allows clarity to avoid such trades.
Keep it simple take trades only in the Zone and you will be fine.

From Psycho-Cybernetics
read the book!
1) Your Self-Image…
Your self-image, how you see and feel about yourself, can be changed at any time regardless of your age. This begins with developing awareness around
your thoughts. It’s a process of retraining (and expanding) your mind. As you do this refuse to focus on (or mention) any negative statement about
yourself. It’s the negative statements that continue to belittle your self-image. While doing this, turn your back on the failures of the past. Then
concentrate on your previous successes as you bring them into the present moment. At first this requires a conscious effort but in time becomes a mental
habit. This aids with replacing the negative thoughts with a newer and greater self-image.
2) Success Mechanism…
You have a success mechanism within you that will steer your mind to a productive goal if you allow it. Think back when you were a child
learning a new task. Did you recall how many times you tried before succeeding? You continued to repeat and practice until you were able to do the thing
you sought out to do. As an adult its no different. It’s like having a small recorder in your brain that continues to repeat what you play, so you must
become conscious of what you are playing. This requires daily observation. Once you are aware of what you are playing about yourself you can make
the effort to change it. Your subconscious mind does what it is directed to do, and always knows, it only needs to be directed in a way that brings you
success and happiness.
3) Your Imagination…
You are the product of your imagination and you can use it either constructively, or destructively. If you think well of yourself and have that
confidence in yourself you will succeed. If you think in negative terms you will fail – unless you change your self-image. Everything depends
upon your concept of yourself. Often this is impacted by past experiences, teachers, parents or other figures in your life. This continues to chip away
at your confidence and triggers self doubt. However, this can all be changed. You start the process by focusing only on your successes while shifting your
perception around the fears of failure. Understand that a mistake doesn’t make a failure, for success is learning how to rise above failure. An important
note here is that it is the opinion of yourself that counts, nothing else. Knowing this, you can learn how to use your imagination constructively to
change your self-image, by visualizing yourself as you desire to be on a continual basis.
4) Creative Thought and Action…
Change your mind to think and act creatively. You learn to reach your goal by exercising your success mechanism daily and refusing to be
sidetracked by negative feelings. You enhance this by focusing only on your accomplishments of the past while remaining in the present. In doing this you
are no longer sidetracked by negative feelings or past stories. Keep your environment pure. If the situation in present defies a solution, then sleep ON it –
not WITH it. In doing that you commit your success mechanism to work subconsciously while you sleep. You initiate this by focusing on the problem prior
to sleep knowing the solution will be provided. Repeat this until it becomes clear and you will create programs that automatically work for you while you
sleep, allowing you to wake with the solutions.
5) The Art of Relaxation…
Learn how to relax your mind and your body by connecting to yourself. When the mind is in a relaxed state its more receptive. This makes it easier to
program success in your subconscious mind just like you would program a computer. To begin the process of relaxation you start with forgiveness, that is
forgiveness of yourself and others. Then see yourself as a person of great confidence, independent of circumstances or things. Cease to compare yourself
Page 63 of 191
Davit’s Fundamental-Technical Posts since beginning Pivot Trading
Update: Wednesday, January 17, 2018
to others. Only compare you to you, that is your present self to your past self and you will see your growth and progress which feeds your confidence. It
is equally important to release all chronic frustration. Everyone has frustration during the day, but chronic frustration is due to the problems of yesterday
that you continue and carry with you like a pack of weights on your back. These repetitive past feelings need to be released and this is done by living fully
in the present. Begin your days with a few minutes of silence every day as you sit with yourself and observe. This will help you release the painful
emotions of the past for healing and aid with relaxing the mind and body for dissolving anxiety.
6) The Power of Beliefs…
Your beliefs can either be true or false, but if you believe them you will act that part. Beliefs become habits and habits are nothing more than self-
hypnosis. So it’s important to learn how to de-hyptonize yourself from those negative beliefs. Begin this process by focusing ONLY on your success while
remaining in the present moment. This is a mental exercise that consists of bringing your success from all past experiences into the present moment.
Then create a clear picture on how you wish to see yourself and focus on that daily. As you continue you will find your opinion of yourself change as your
self-image expands and your confidence increases.
7) Quest for Happiness…
Happiness is a habit, and its just as easy to be happy as it is to be unhappy. It is simply a cycle of thoughts that increases through love and self-
acceptance. This begins with the understanding that happiness belongs to you. Happiness is an inward state of being that is independent upon
circumstances, people, or things. Make it a conscious effort to focus on your successes while incorporating self-compliments. Expand on your happiness
with love for yourself and others. Repeat these mental exercises daily until they become mental habits. As your self-image increases you will find a
greater love within yourself which feeds your inner state of joy.
8) Success Mechanism Phases…
Here are the phases of the success mechanism that allow your self-image to grow as tall as you want to be. Branched out from the word success, return
to each of these aspects as often as possible.
Sense of Direction, your goals
Understanding of your needs and others
Courage
Compassion
Esteem, self-respect
Self-Acceptance, you are somebody regardless of your mistakes
Self-Confidence
9) Self-Image Failure Mechanism…
Here are the aspects of the failure mechanism which scar your self image. Through this awareness you can learn how to avoid future scarring of your
self-image by making a conscious effort to release these.
Frusteration
Aggressiveness
Insecurity
Loneliness
Uncertanity
Resentment
Emptiness
10) Releasing Emotional Scaring…
Remember that you are to big to be threatened. By facing your fears safely in your imagination you will free yourself from them. Learn how to become
self-reliant as it will help you coach yourself through the process. Take the time to focus on your mind and body as you relax into your being. Learn to let
go of the past, releasing all emotional scaring so you no longer carry the old baggage with you into the present. Make it a conscious effort to apply these
techniques daily under a relaxed state of mind and you will see your self-image grow and expand.
11) Managing Stress…
Learn how to stand up to stress through effective use of your imagination. You do this by changing every crisis into an opportunity, by shifting how you
think about it as you change your approach and action. What you focus on expands. By shifting your focus you can learn how to transform the stress into
motivation. Your mind will guide you if you allow it and this is greatly enhanced through meditation and visualization.
12) Attention and Focus…
You can change your luck by refusing to allow your negative feelings impact your self-image. You do this by concentrating on the confidence of the past
as you bring that into the present moment whenever a negative feeling arises. You embrace and release the negative feelings, while changing your point
of focus. In doing this the old mental habits transform into positive mental habits that work for you. You become a success when you learn to be
yourself. Select realistic goals to reach fulfillment and exercise your creative success mechanism daily to achieve them. Combine thought with creative
performance and action as you train yourself to remain present with everything you do.
Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try

liked...sad
No basses at all.My trades are posted and people who follow me here
know exactly what's going on but these imbeciles accuse without
proof! Nothing!
Emmanuel accused me lying about taking money to pay my mortgage
from my winnings then when I showed my bank statement he quickly
shut up.
Then he claimed I was in his skipe group in 2012 which I never joined
nor cared about him in general and again no proof just mindless
trolling.
These people surprise me every day.The level these pinheads go is
astonishing.

Davit, there is a post that you made about MM and risk. Since this method is mature, would you consider putting that post in post 1? It is time to turn
this thread into a book in my opinion.

Just want to remind everyone that not every trade you place becomes
profitable right away.Often people forget time factor.Sometimes it can
take a week or more.Doesn't mean you were wrong market just does
what it does.
Patience in trading is valuable. If you find yourself becoming inpatient
then walk away and do some house chore or anything else to distract
you from trading.
Example my AC and NC trades.Might hold these to next week if
necessary and that's perfectly normal. This is not day trading system
when you close everything end of the day.

Yep, that is the post I was thinking of. Now, there are no more excuses. This thread shows when to enter, when to exit, and how much to risk per trade.
Many examples have been posted. Many traders have posted profit. Davit has gone from a struggling trader to being the best trader on FF. This is not
flattery. I watched it personally. If anyone comes to this thread and reads this post, go back to post one before posting your first chart. The market will
slow down for the students who are serious. Not a dime has been charged. No insinuations of private "members only" threads. Just hard work and
sharing. Most importantly, when it was time for Davit to strike out on his own, he did not defile the memory of the people he learned from. Nor did
lastingwell, or lisat, or likica...etc. Some have accused this man of photoshop. This why it is pointless sometimes to post equity curves. There is no
winning that game. Good traders get accused of lying. But Davit tried to be transparent. No secrets. He did not invent new names for old concepts. Like
Big E, he showed the entire process of his evolution. I hope that people understand what this means. The path to financial freedom is not easy, but there
are paths that have been laid with honesty. Likica and Davit are two legacies of what Big E was trying to do. They had enough respect to leave the nest
and build their own legacies. It is shameful that others do not feel the same way.

Thank you Jim that was very generous.I am sure there are lot better
traders here on FF and I still have lot to learn.
I shared what works for me however it may not work for everyone.
One must match trading style with his/her personality much like in
ART if one likes to paint still life then may not like figure painting when
challenges are far more complex.Trade system that fits your

I recently made a post about avoiding trading on or close to WP and take a look at UC
folks who were short at WP are getting slaughtered
In my opinion these are little things you learn by experience that one rarely finds in books.
What happens to lot of traders who trade MA's and dashboards which are MA based and think great we have red red red red on most TF and lets sell then
get whipsaw separated from their cash.
Be smart follow my advise. On my 1st page I stated its all about price location.Unlearn everything you know about MA's start thinking in terms of location.

GM guys sat morning here in Boston.Love morning when my mind is calm and relaxed and love the silence.
Just a reminder that each weekend go over the calander and mark key dates and do this every week religiously until it becomes a habit.
This is important because when you do this often you start noticing how market makers position their orders. They look ahead
Weds NZD Q/Q GDP-After election business confidence is low on NZD hence this might print red and I most likely will hold my AN longs
NU may drop significantly and might be good opertunity to buy lower level.
Weds JPY Monetary Policy Statement- neutral nothing new here.BOJ Policy Rate-same BOJ Press Conference-
don't expect much here most likely range trading.
Thurs huge day for CAD-CPI m/m Core Retail Sales m/m
If green this will do wonders for NC and AC shorts. Retail may print green since its holiday season people shop.
After 30min of this you feel you have a grasp what's coming up and that adds confidence on your trading decisions.
Since we know USD GDP is Thurs would you sell USD weds? Not likely correct? just going over the calendar you start seeing which scenarios you should
avoid.Don't sell USD correct? Possible buy AUD...
Idea doing this you start seeing how market shifts and often it shifts around the calendar.
This is the difference how I trade I don't blindly only look at the charts.

On fundamentals NZD after election got weaker and I don't see fundamentally NZD gaining on AUD below 900 and most likely scenario is range trading
above 900-1000 in 2018
Goes without saying anything can happen.

Example I just posted which is inline with diversion post 13900 and looking at the same chart at anglator without any price and just tip of the TDI I can
tell the move is exhausted for the Bull.Time to get out.
Only green h4 and lower TF either flat or red and daily red TDI pointing down. Enough signal to know north is low probability direction.

Specially in context of
"Thurs huge day for CAD-CPI m/m Core Retail Sales m/m
If green this will do wonders for NC and AC shorts. Retail may print

MM could spike it if both print green this will go far on all CAD pairs
perhaps less on UC but crosses more

Thanks zorndyke, that made it very clear!! A nice trading style, no question. For me it would be very hard to manage my trades that way but that's the
nice part about trading. A lots of good different ways out there to make money at the markets...
Once you get taken out of the market numerous times then you start getting smarter.Hard SL is perhaps most misunderstood aspect of trading.Your
broker loves SL's...think why is that. Placing anything less then 50pipSL on H1-D chart is most likely will be taken out.
If you are a scalper then different picture.I actually sleep very peacefully never worried about my trades.Try reducing your lot size.
Something that is critical to grasp.

Some quicky on UC
+106
Why I got out? Cad major data is on Thurs and until then I think USD bulls control until final GDP so my selling USD are basically quick trades.
R38 could stop this further decline
even though its only 106 points however my lot sizes are larger then normal.
Note these are just points not pips.Actually gains are measured in dollars %.
may go back up to 29 and then might be worth selling since I think range is more likely until Thurs.

Yes, I agree. Slight difference would be no problem. I did read the first post and Davit says that we should adjust the pivots until we are close to his
ones. So that's only what I am trying to do. I am able to adjust Davits indicator as close as 0,5 pips to his pivots. Unfortunately I can't adjust the other
ones and they are almost 10 pips away but if that is still ok then I am fine with it... Didn't want to obsess over the differences just wanted to be on the
same page as you guys...

I've taken this one.... but as always exit is a nonsense....i've to wait wait wait... Thanks for effort and please let 's give us your precious suggests... ps
i've asked before... but why so many orders instead one biggest? Thanks Regards {image}
1st page
Swings
Each Swing investment $500 (example yours could be anything)
Swing is taken as loss once -$500 is reached
There are no exceptions. No running red beyond $500
Orders broken down into mini lots that satisfies each swing consist of
10-15 trades
My budget for this is 2-3% of account risk say $500 for example.I then
enter trades on mini lots and as long as my 500 is not consumed on
DD and I am still confident of my trade I stay on it.I may choose to
get out early but most times my SL is predetermined. This allows me to
cast a wider net. So my 10mini lots can cover 50pip distance hence
capture better RR
There is advantage to trade this way.Should PA go against you
and you no longer like the trade you can get out by fraction of
lot invested hence your loss is minimal instead of traditional 1
trade 1lot per trade when if wrong loss is substantially higher.
Numbers posted are for examples only

You have NO edge or EDGE severely diminished
Better trade was continuing selling NC
idea AB=CD or 123 formation typical of correction. What I often do get out and get in essentially double dipping same trade as though I was still in it.

(1H n 4H) to explain me why i enter short on three times and seek your valuable comments on this trade, thanks for your comments but please do not
remove me from here. my first trade on short CHF/JPY based on 1H chart, at that time PA reach R38-114.404...
For someone who claims to follow this thread and my posts you obviously skimped reading 1st page in bold orange perhaps even casually read rest of it.
I can't help you with charts you posted. You have 3yrs experience in forex and yet you can't follow simple instructions.
When you can post charts with my template and indicators then might discuss it.

One of my haters keeps belittling me by saying I trade for peanuts. If that's the best they have against me I'll take it since in 1 week I made more then
my weekly wages at my regular job and its 65% of my mortgage.
This kind of elitist attitude is oxymoron considering average retail FX account is 2-5k and mine is above average and I build it up from humble
beginnings.

Hi Davit, Just to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and to ask you what are your thoughts on AUDJPY. Thanks
Thank you friend and same to you. I am short on AJ and will hold since I think it is severely overstretched and correction likely soon.

well its all down to experience ofall the years and the mistakes u have learnt along the way to make a smal account bigger , it is not pure luck, even with
the gains i have taken small losses . the fun is not to be greedy but take high probability trades and give them sufficient time to ripen. my posting
here is not to boast but show the power of high probability trades taken with small lots . this strategy here is a killer one and has been used for ages
unknown to beat the markets. {quote}
Well said not everyone here understands what that means. There is a valid drawdown and there is a loss that clearly you were wrong. Both not the same.

{quote} How do we distinguish between the two? Use the fixed dollar loss as exit? Thanks
Location of price.
Example UJ its been ranging since 2016.Pull up a chart and look at the
weekly.Lets say you are in red now but your shorts at these levels
more likely then not to drop again lower Trump polices range factors
ext.No reason to take the loss becouse you are in top of the range
perhaps not extreme top but nevertheless high.
This is kind of DD I am willing to hold.
Now loss trade example you were shorting AN at 600 then price went
700 then 800 no real retracement then 900 now you are obviously
against the trend and fundamentals specially after NZD election.
I would of got out at 700 even less. You have to take quality trades and
if you follow system rules even quality loss is ok because given 100
exact trades you will have majority winners.
Your acceptable DD is your choice however there are trades like I just
brought up worth killing quicker

You welcome
Just so you know your EJ longs are not part of this system!I would
never buy anything at 78R
I have army of haters assume everyone posts here trade my system
fully. Not the case. You are clearly not following my system rules.
You are top of the range basically tail end late comer of the wave
which you missed.Had you bought EJ at S78 S61 S38 that would of
been a different story.
happy holidays.Don't take personally I just want people to be
clear.Worst thing can happen that you actually succeed making little
money doing what You did but that hard wires bad trading
habits and next time will smash your face on the pavement hard that
will leave deep scars.
This system is about the EDGE if you can't follow it please don't post

{quote} Thank you for sharing yours. I have been doing some research and credence of this system on higher tfs for about 9 months now and I have a
finding to share, hopefully in the spirit of the season you will be interested in taking up the challenge for the benefit of those interested in this thread. I
observed that the same principle of Davit Pivots used on weekly can be applied profitably to quarters, what i did was that i manually calculate
the Davit fibs at the end...
Hi friend you are wrong on that.Quarter is too big TF and lot can happen in 3months time.It may look convincing on past data but not applicable in real
trading when we have Central Banks policies, heads, GPA ,CPI's,NFP coming up and any of these can change trend in a heartbeat or at least swings which
could run hundreds of pips opposite.
Try not deviate this ironically happens to almost all threads.
happy holidays

Hi Steve
I am honored to have you post here.Yes I noticed this for years and in
my trading I do pay attention to 00 and 5 numbers.I trade fib pivots
because of my love of harmonics and how price reacts to fibs.
I am now kind of hard wired about fibs and in particular about fib
pivots.I have traded thousands of trades that my enthusiasm has solid
backing history.
There are small minority of traders who are focused on fibs.
Scott,CNtrader,Mr Pip and myself here that I am aware of.
Right now personally its about refining my entries and exits and no
longer about the methodology.

{quote} I have studied this as well. What I found is that all whole and half numbers are not created equally. What pivots do is highlight which of these
numbers will be more relevant. So a BRN at the weekly pivot will not have the stopping power that a BRN between the 61 and 78 zones. The main reason
is that when prices comes into these zones there has been a significant move and there is likely to be exhaustion present. This is what pivot trading does
in my view. It finds areas of exhaustion where price is likely to reverse. So if using whole and...

Just for educational reasons well known trader advises not to trade "consolidation" which is pretty decent distance 140pips.
This was exact trade I and many of us took with nice gains $$$ AN long and was very nicely payed out.
Different philosophy different approach.
https://www.forexfactory.com/showthr...n#post10602876
post 84.497
Core concept about this thread is trading swings!in key pivot zones. When we take a trade in the zone and PA agrees then we don't care if its weekly
consolidation or not because that very trade could become break out trade even greater gains however squeezing 50-100pip distance from a trade is
valid respectable gain and you repeat this day in and out watch your account grow.
I love rangy pairs specially "consolidation" conditions because that's when one can get in and get out wait for dips or rallies and repeat. In my approach
range should not be feared but welcomed because we are not trading trends but swings.Think swing, waves and if you trade with weekly and monthly
candle direction then any breakout is along bigger trend so you are by default trend trading.
I hope this makes sense to you guys.

Let's see if market will drop to the next BRN 135.00 and I can boast I make 1,000 pips in a 100pips move from 136 to 135.
I could have traded micro lots and then make 10,000pips... lots of pips but the money is the same as my standard lot trades.
What is the edge in trading small lots? NONE! Just some fun to make lots of pips what rookie trader enjoys."
Lets say you place 1 standard lot and price goes against you 50pips that's -500
Same scenario had you divided your 1 standard lot in quarters and after placing your trade 1/4 size realizing this thing is not going right then you hold
rest of the orders and get out exactly same time your loss is -125 NOT -500
Which is smarter trading.Who has better advantage. You be the judge! There is lot more far more advantage trading small and not care to get in right now.

This seems odd with an isolated uptrend for 15 min on M15 TF at exactly 1700 EST AO. Is this artificial widening of the spread to clear SLs of Retailers
(us):
Did anyone else see this ? If I had had long TP positions, would these have been jumped over by the Market Makers widening the spread suddenly ?

David, that is my Oanda platform in the USA EST Zone (New York, Atlanta). I guess
you have different server data in Canada home of Oanda. This is not the first time...I did
see this with NU at Friday Closing 1700 EST a few weeks ago where it jumped my TP.
And, this also happened on another platform on Tway in the AJ and EJ.
Tway:
I believe this is how the "House always wins" in the end and different brokers pick
different pairs to do the MM thing to Retailers (us) and to wish us Happy Holidays...they
are not on vacation and maybe all USA is targeted for this because of idiot leader we
have !
But I agree with you to have very wide SL or none at all, but there is still loss of any TP
you may have, But, not a problem if you do not have any hard TP either as done here and
closing after a great profit !

Bars in MT4 are drawn by the "Bid" price, not by the "Ask" price. So this is not "Spread
widening", but the Bid price was at that level for a moment. For what reason ever. Could
be a data-error. Is this spike also visible on other Timeframes? You can try and close
MT4, delete the AUDNZD_15 history file from the
%appdata%\MetaQuotes\<TerminalId>\history\<Server> folder and restart MT4. It will
re-download the history.

Here is the 3rd Broker I am testing on a Demo platform that does not show this
phenomena. But it does show the typical Friday Close spike that most Brokers use to
close their books and avoiding loss by increasing their spread suddenly. I guess this is
why many traders avoid Friday trading - but, this wham-effect can happen at any opening
market or News-induced effect, and a reason why some traders use smaller TF to catch
this spiking and riding the waves at those times:
I guess for me in the EST Southeastern USA (Atlanta), I will have to consider this last
broker for obvious reasons.
Lastly, if you are in Boston USA, it must be the Server feeding the Southeast here or the
Brokers' Demo feed with the first two. Who knows.
Well all the best Davit and thank you for your input - as always! Happy Holidays and
Happy New Year to you and the rest of the Pivoters here !

well this "phenomena" is called a "server reset" EST 17:00 well know fact among trader
who trade live for a while ... the spread goes wide sometimes do to data and liquidity
is stopped for seconds.... less for major more for exotic...

I belong to Oanda as well for the last dozen year. Only had one account because I only
needed one. You cannot blow up with Oanda. Their algorithm allows you to trade
prudently, and stay alive until you learn to do so. So for this thread and method I would
fully endorse them. You will not get silly leverage levels, but if you can trade, you don't
need them. Davit's method is a refinement and mastery of BWILC. A good read if you
want to really get into the technical philosophy behind this method.
Edit: YOU DO NOT NEED THE COURSE. Davit has already given it to you in a way
that works for these markets. If you do read the book you will understand the power of
ranges, and exhaustion, etc.

I think the tipping point for AJ to fall will be XAUUSD falling. Today is the first trading day of the week and it's already at WR78.

I have one, but it is in ex4 so I cannot alter the code. Anyone else can chime in too if they have one.

If you can't see price decline by looking at 5 close candles and NEED 3 different MA's for that then you need to work on your price action skills.

Just for gaining insight. 24MA on my template. R61 to 24MA over 100pips.Efficient? think not.

Hi W
I don't know the future. My trades are based on my system and its
based on sample size. Not every trade becomes a winner but out of
100 trades I can hit 70-80 winners. That's my experience others may
have higher or lower.
Remember right now market is very thin hence may not reflect true
market conditions. My vision is on page 1

What happened to cad?
nothing push take profit price drops then more buyers get in push higher price drop then more buyers etc
what's important that drop does not engulf the previous bull candle.

Hi pgr45za,
Apparently, it is not usually wise to enter near the WP area and only in the safer R61-100 Zones instead with when ADR turns Red suggesting being OB. I
am now taking a short with a soft SL of 300 Pips that is above the R200 level that I can risk (10-20% of Balance). I only have a tiny live account, but can
cover 0.02 Lots short single trade...very humble trade as a novice here despite a current uptrend as I believe I do have "The Edge" and without "Fear" of
loss, while waiting for the PA to come to me for some 30 Pips as a TP. For example:

Just to be crystal clear, I entered upon a rejection of the green dotted line (WR61) 2

You are an interesting person. You place a trade and you don't understand the risk.Does not matter any system every trade carries risk and that's why its
called speculating.
My positions are still open and its not 1st time I find myself here.If I think my trades are not valid anymore I will scale out of positions by -25% loss then
wait to see if PA changes to my favor if yes then give it a time.
Understand its low liquidity time now and market behavior is severely distorted.Stop hunts are common in holiday.I would hang on until normal
conditions return however its your account and I am NOT going to manage your trades.

Thank you for the explanation of your view. As for the mine understanding the risk - I've just meant the "Risk chapter" of your system and I didn't find it.
I know the risk limit of my own account.
I'm used to understanding of the risk WHEN I open the position. The risk of exactly that position, not risk of my account. Don't wanna to assess my
chances after the market went against me.
Hope you understand me in right way, I didn't copy your CAD trade, just wanted to hear your opinion.
Many Thanks.

I read often "price rejected 34EMA (insert any MA) then went down"
No price did not notice 34EMA or any EMA.Market makers who have
funds to push price are not placing their orders watching MA's Not
happening in real world. The idea of price "rejected" by MA is absurd.
Price just happened to hit that MA! Throw in 10 MA's chances are price

What he's saying is a variant of the Efficient Markets' Hypothesis. The problem is, according to the EMH, there should be no traders like Warren Buffett
and many others who have made billions upon billions. Fundamentals are obviously important and only a LAZY trader would choose to ignore them. It
takes work and most humans shy away from it. Thinking requires effort, and many choose to just follow the herd. Price DOES adjust sometimes abruptly

Keep it simple
Go to calendar and go over each Red News events and make notes to yourself.Idea is to be aware its coming up and you know some idea about it.
This can influence how you see the market.
Things may not unfold the way you think about events but it does help example AUD did get stronger and I made good money on AN longs
Idea is not so much being right about events but seeing how events move price and to avoid scenarios that are risky
This weekly going over calendar events is for you to be in tune with pulse of the market.
To me this is what sentiment means recognizing the pulse of the market.

I'm no expert on this (Lordgbengs and others are much better) ... but I would say it's important to read thru news that report on facts more than
opinions. Also, reading the local press and the Central Bank's minutes helps form an informed opinion about where the market might be headed. Of
course it's all just probable ... in the following week ANYTHING can happen.
On which fundamentals to follow, if you're short on time (and frankly, who isn't?) I always come "back to basics" and remember that core inflation is
what central bankers focus on when they decide on whether and at what pace (communication to influence market expectations matter!) to increase
interest rates and, as we know, interest rate differentials are the most important determinant of exchange rates. So definitely look and monitor wage
pressures and core CPI.
We read a lot about keeping a trading journal but we don't see a lot about keeping an updated Excel file with evidence of wage pressures // core CPI
increasing or moderating. Maybe we ought to give that some thought.
PS - Let me just add that knowing about holidays (not vacations, there's a difference) in Japan, Europe and Jewish celebrations are also key as you don't
want to be trading in a thinner market with one-sided liquidity.

I think the whole inflation concept is overdone these days. All economies are struggling with the same issues. Debt, stagnant wages, underemployment,
lack of inflation, etc.
The US raised rates 3 times this year while no one else raised even once and yet the UD dollar had a horrible year verse pretty much every other
currency. Imho, the perceptions/expectations of inflation and associated rate hikes coupled with the actual FED "events" are just opportunities for
institutional traders and market makers to pay their bills on the backs of retail traders.
I do keep track of fundamentals and related sentiment but the reality is I can't predict the outcome of any news event regardless of which way the
numbers print. What I can do is be prepared in advance as far as what price zone is going to be a good place to enter a trade, regardless of which way
the news takes price. Fundamentals/news events may the catalyst for price movement, but technical analysis reveals where the best entry/exit points
may be.

Very interesting. I agree that we are recovering from a serious financial crisis (it's been 10 years and we're still talking about it). Which fundamental
variable would you choose to look at (if not core CPI and wage pressures), job growth? Thanks in advance.

Take next week that I expect will be dominated by FOMC minutes on Wed and NFP Fri.
Does that mean that we should expect dollar strength leading up to Fri and then possibly a sell off on Fri (on buy the rumor and sell the fact)?
Your input is appreciated on this question, Davit. And others too. Thanks.

lack of inflation, etc. The US raised rates 3 times this year while no one else raised even once and yet the UD dollar had a horrible year verse pretty much
every other currency. Imho, the perceptions/expectations of inflation and associated rate hikes coupled with the actual FED "events" are just
opportunities for institutional traders and market makers to pay their bills on the backs of retail traders....

USD reached about a 12 year high around Jan this year from memory on the back of endless overall positive FED expectations.Like leading a Donkey with
a carrot on a stick, these rates were long ago priced in before 2017. Not sure if Brexit panic pumped up USD safehaven status further, but if it did, this
would have just further stretched the Bullish USD beyond buyers area of interest for 2017.

Take next week that I expect will be dominated by FOMC minutes on Wed and NFP Fri. Does that mean that we should expect dollar strength leading up
to Fri and then possibly a sell off on Fri (on buy the rumor and sell the fact)? Your input is appreciated on this question, Davit. And others too. Thanks.

I read constantly in general what traders post and sometimes take mental notes and sometimes I get that Really? I read often "price rejected 34EMA
(insert any MA) then went down" No price did not notice 34EMA or any EMA.Market makers who have funds to push price are not placing their orders
watching MA's Not happening in real world. The idea of price "rejected" by MA is absurd. Price just happened to hit that MA! Throw in 10 MA's chances are
price will hit one of them but means nothing. To understand how price moves please watch MD video again on...
Hey Davit, thanks for sharing. Is there part 1, 2 and 4 also on Youtube? I tried to find it but couldn't...
