1) INTRODUCTION

ATTENTION GETTER

 11 march 2020, WHO characterised covid a global pandemic.

 On 18 March 2020, the federal government of Malaysia has implemented PKP
or MCO referred to Movement Control Order as a measure in response to
Covid19 pandemic in our country.
 25 march, PM announced the first extension of MCO lasts till 14 april and one of
the order was the closure of all kindergartens, government and private
schools including daily schools, boarding schools, international schools,
tahfiz centres and other primary, secondary and pre-university institutions.
 Now, our environment of learning and teaching process has converted to
virtual. This may give some pro and cons to teachers and students.
 Today, I would like to persuade you why face to face learning is still better
rather than online class learning.
 I will explain 2 primary reasons why f2f learning is better than online class
learning then I will show benefits of online class learning. Lastly I will
conclude my presentation.

2) BODY

1st point

1. I would like to start with stating that in face to face learning you'll be able to
concentrate harder on your learning because there’ll be less distraction than if
you were at home.

 Studying at home may not as comfortable as in universities as you are occupied

with full facilities like wifi connection and books at the library. At home, not all
people are installed with wifi connection at their home. Even if they have
mobile data not all places are covered with good connection. For instance, there
was a student from UMS who lived in Pitas, Sabah spent her 24hrs at top of the
tree to find a good coverage. At home, you also may get external stress or
background distraction from you other family members and neighbours like
fighting and shouting to each other. They don’t have any condusive place to
focus on their study also not all people are installed with wifi at their home.
Student will feel unmotivated if they continue to suffer from this matter.

 COUNTER CLAIM

On the other hand, online learning class is beneficial for both teachers and students who
chose online learning as their method. This is because.

1. It costs less

 They don’t have to spend much money this time. There is no need to
travel for training and no parking expenses or even can save their money
on gas for their vehicles. For students, they don’t need to spend money
on foods as they lived in their parent’s roof. Besides that, with the
existence of wifi connection and mobile data there is no need to meet
face to face each other as we can stay connected through many
platforms like google meet and more as now we live in pandemic
situation and follow the rules of the government has implemented it is
very convenient for all party. It saves much time for all and can avoid
being late to the class also to stay safe from Covid19.

3)CONCLUSION

I believe that face to face learning is much better as the traditional method to
reach students because we now cannot

teachers and other students
4. You have a greater chance of completing your course successfully by doing it in
a classroom situation. (Completion rate of teacher-led classes is almost 5x higher than
that of on line learning)
5. You have the opportunity to connect with, problem-solve, and network with
other students from a wide range of background
6. Courses fit around your life, family and other things you do

7. You will avoid being late to class, or geatting distracted in class
