HMI device: Convenient, reliable and simple local operation without connecting
additional tools to the instrument.

The device human machine interface (HMI) uses cell phone

navigation concepts with a powerful, back-lighted display.
Straightforward setup screens guide you through the
commissioning. All major device parameters can be configured.
The same device human machine interface (HMI) is used for
all new ABB instruments for easy configuration, integration
and maintenance.

Mobile handheld terminal DHH805-A: the only intuitive configuration tool

Smart and easy-to-use, all-in-one HART® tool
Mobile handheld DHH805-A is a universal configuration tool
allowing easy parameterization of ABB and third party HART®
instruments. One model fits all and includes the needed
accessories and ATEX, FM and IEC Ex certifications for global
use within all industry segments. With its low weight and an
intuitive navigation menu, this competitive communication
device grants advanced mobile access in the field.
Up-to-date device
DHH805-A PC-Tool automatically detects available firmware
and software updates via internet connection.
Moreover, customer can forget about license expiration dates:
DHH805-A provides life-time free upgrades and DDs import
license and no renewal fees to pay.

backlight and contrast adjustment
− Off-line mode for developing/reviewing configurations

Simple DD file and configuration management

Thanks to dedicated software called DHH805-A PC-Tool
(delivered along with the handheld terminal), user can upload,
delete and check DD files massively.
When operating “off-line”, user can clone, edit and download
configurations as well as store them in the standard 2 GByte
SD card memory and upload new parameterizations to the Handheld terminal for advanced

Delivering powerful diagnostics

DTMs with a consistent look and feel based on the FDT

DTM Style Guide and supporting the latest FDT 1.2.1
standard. Significant improvements have been made in
visibility, usability and functionality. Three examples of
this are Intuitive Setup Wizards, Informative Diagnostics
that conform to the NAMUR NE107 standard and support
for MS Windows 2000, XP and VISTA. Consistent look
and feel whether the frame application is a stand alone
tool or embedded in a control system.

Completing the comprehensive portfolio

Wireless technology will increase installation flexibility enabling the monitoring of

measurements that were heretofore too costly.

Using our WirelessHART products allows HART process and

instrument information to be transmitted wirelessly into Asset
monitoring/configuration software including Asset Vision and/
or a DCS to support diagnostics, maintenance, configuration
and PV data monitoring. Through the simple, secure and
reliable mesh network, our wireless products work with other
devices which use the same WirelessHART standard.
