Highlights of Qualifications

Coaching:
● Volleyball (2020): From October through November I was one of the coaches for the grade 7 girls volleyball team.
During this time we helped develop the girls’ basic fundamentals of volleyball such as: underhand/overhand serving,
passing, and setting. The students were then able to apply this skills in game-based situations.

Practicum Experience

EDUC 2500 (May 27- June 17, 2019)


In the summer of 2019, I had the opportunity to observe my Teacher Associate Nicole Wilson and her grade ⅔ class, for three
weeks at Children of St. Martha’s School. During this experience I was able to assist my teacher in Religion, Math, Social
Studies, Science and LA.
PS I: Griffin Park Elementary (November 13- December 12th, 2019)
My first teaching practicum was at Griffin Park Elementary in Brooks, AB teaching grade 5/6. In this practicum I worked with
my Teacher Associates Shelby Giesbrecht and Carlene Roth. This placement was unique as the class was designed specifically
to work with all children on modified programming and over half of the class were ESL students. I taught the following subjects
Literacy, Art, Science, Social (social skills), and Math.

PS II
Part 1: County Central High School (March 2- March 13th, 2020)
I began my practicum experience at County Central High School in Vulcan, AB March 2nd. My teaching assignment was
teaching PE 7,8,10-12. My journey as a PE teacher was just beginning when our practicum was cancelled due to the COVID-19
pandemic.

Part 2: Brooks Junior High School (August 31-September 30th, 2020)


I was able to complete my PS II experience at Brooks Junior High School teaching grade 7-8 PE and Math 8 alongside my
teacher mentors Lana Osadczuk and Cherri-Lynn, respectively.

PS III: Brooks Junior High School (Oct 1- December 18th, 2020)

After September, I was able to continue working at BJHS for my third practicum. My teaching assignment for this semester is
PE 7-8, Math 8 and Science 8.

Employment History

Camp Counselor -2018

● Planned and facilitated activities for a group of 40 camp kids


● Worked with children with a variety of disabilities, such as: A.D.D, A.D.H.D, Autism, O.D.D
