*Ethics are based on logic and reason rather than tradition or injunction.
*Faith is complete trust or confidence in someone or something.
2. What are the two kinds of freedom? Distinguish each.
*Natural freedom which is implies the absence of social contraint upon action.
*Social freedom which entails the capacity for action due to mutually benificial structural constraint.

1. What is normative ethics?
*This is the study of ethical action.
2. What is the role of ethics in terms of identifying the following?
a. responsibility;
-is an ethical concept that refers to the fact that individuals and groups have morally based obligations and
duties to others and to larger ethical and moral codes.

-has expanded beyond the basic definition of being called the account for ones actions.

*Normative ethics involves arriving at moral standards the regulate right and wrong conduct.
*Applied ethics refers to the practical applications of moral considerations.
*Descriptive ethics is a form of empirical research into the attitudes of individuals or groups of people .
