This course examines the nature of


individual and group employee behavior in
a work environment and how it affects
organizational performance. Psychological
principles explain how and why people act
as they do. It includes an emphasis on the
use of theories as conceptual tools for
analyzing and solving personnel problems.

Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course, the


student will have reliably demonstrated the ability to:

1. Analyze individual and group behaviour, and understand


the implications of organizational behaviour on the process
of management.

2. Identify different motivational theories and evaluate


motivational strategies used in a variety of organizational
settings.

3. Evaluate the appropriateness of various leadership styles


and conflict management strategies used in organizations.
