To whom this may concern,
It is my pleasure to be able to supply this reference letter for Ms. Kenady Layton, whom I had the opportunity to work with during her first Professional Teaching practicum, in the fall of 2019.
Ms. Layton came to work in my Grade 4 classroom in November ’19. It
became apparent very early on that Kenady was dedicated to the profession, and was willing to work on becoming the best teacher she could be. She approached her teaching assignments with enthusiasm and confidence. She showed responsibility and reliability at every turn, being especially skilled in the areas of preparing lessons and evaluating them. Kenady made every effort to get to know her students, and to help them succeed in any way she could. She invited and accepted criticism, using it constructively to improve her teaching. I was especially impressed with how she volunteered to tackle a good portion of our part in the Christmas concert, and to return post- practicum to watch the students perform, all on her own volition.
Because of this remarkable professional skill, conduct and her very
personable nature, I would not hesitate in considering Kenady Layton for any position she applies for. Being an absolute team player, she would make an excellent addition to any school staff. I myself would welcome the chance to work with her again. Please feel free to contact me at any time should any questions or clarification become necessary. My cell phone number is 403 977 0634.
