Language as Scientific Study

For the moment, it will be enough to say that by the language as a scientific study is meant its
investigation by means of controlled and empirically verifiable observations and with reference
to some general theory of language-structure. Moreover, language is a scientific study due to
some several reasons. First, language must be systematically studied; it is sensitive and well-
processed. Next is, it comes from different theories and hypothesis; yet scientists or
researchers had built their own theories regarding language existence, reservoir and varieties.
Lastly, data gathering and empirical data had been part of linguistics (scientific study); in the
present form of the world, there are many languages that had been made or created by
millennials, LGBT community and others. Considering the empirical data, this may be verifiable.

To be more precise, language is the main medium of communication, its preoccurence must be
well- studied. Validation and confirmations are really important in studying languages, as
stated, language is sensitive- it must be properly understand and clear. Furthermore, through
systematic approaches, language is partly a scientific study or should we say "linguistics". And
this helps us convey the origins of words and languages, their historical applications, and their
modern day relevance. Studying language is invaluable for learning about other cultures and
mapping their respective developments, histories, myths, customs, etc. It also helps us
understand and document geographical or environmental influences, periods of migration,
origin of certain spiritual beliefs, etc. through the study of things like language families, and
tracking differences in word usage and dialects over a long period of time.

Therefore, in my expectation, we might encounter some research work activities regarding

language theories. These may help us to gain greater appreciation and higher understanding.
And also, we will use some several scientific methods in gaining data such as interview,
literature review and reading some previous researches. I conclude that this will be an
interesting lesson because we will find out on what is the development of our languages in this
modern days and how it was transformed to a new language distinctions.
