Tips for using the ergonomic calculator

Factor in shoe height (usually 1 inch or so) and any clothing allowances

A keyboard tray is an important yet oft-overlooked piece of any ergonomic setup. Keyboard trays give you more
freedom to bring your keyboard closer to your lap height so you can let your upper arms rest comfortably at your
sides and have about a 90 degree elbow angle while typing with straight wrists. Keeping the wrists straight while

A monitor arm is a desk-mounted adjustable arm for your computer screen. It usually attaches to your desk with
a clamp that mounts to the rear edge of your desktop. Once your arm is installed, you'll be able to adjust both
your monitor height and the distance of your monitor from your eyes. It’s very important to position the monitor
at the fingertip of your outstretched arm. Monitors that are too far away from the eyes cause users to hunch
forward as they try to see the text on their screen. Move that screen closer! Your eyes control your posture.
