1. Community empowerment is an important aspect in the work of a community health nurse.

In CO the community health nurse performs which activity to empower community members?
Answer: You empower through gathering the community to do health teachings about
emergent cases but in times like this what you can do is you can spread the word through
online or you can give out flyers house to house without contact.

2. Being a community health nurse one of your important role in the community is being a client
advocate. How will you exemplify this role?
Answer: You can explain to the community using terms that they can easily understand. In that
way you are also displaying advocacy for the community in explaining to them the do’s and
don’t in layman’s term

3. Community health nurses are generalists in their practice which means that:
Answer: Being a nurse generalist and a community health nurse requires the same skill
set and (some) general knowledge of the other nirsing specialties. For me, one major
difference between the two is the patient per se, in general nursing you approach the
patient one at a time, while in community health nursing your patient is the whole
community at first then after addressing the general health concern of the community
you will now tend to the needs of the individual patients in said community.
