SUBJECT DILG'S WEBINAR SERIES on "Kasapatan at

Ugnayan ng Mamamayan sa Akmang Pagkain at
Nutrisyon (KUMAIN)"

ln pursuil of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 2 - "to end hunger,

achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable
agriculture", President Duterte signed Executive Order (EO) No. 101
"Creating an lnter-Agency Task Force on Zero Hunger" (IATF-ZH) on
January 10,2O2O and designated the Cabinet Secretary as Chairthereof.
EO 101 mandates the IATF-ZH to craft the National Food Policy (NFP).

As part of its information, education, and awareness campaign, the IATF

is conducting the "Kasapatan at Ugnayan ng Mamamayan sa Akmang
Pagkain at Nutrisyon or KUMAIN webinar on October 15, 2020 2:00pm
- 5:00pm. The webinar intends to (i) Enhance awareness on the ongoing
efforts towards meeting the SDG 2 (Zero Hunger); (ii) Share current
national government nutrition interventions and feeding programs; and (iii)
Elicit aclive collaboration between and among the national government,
local government units, private sector, civil society organizations,
academe, and the development partners as the country addresses
hunger.

Anent to this, al I Provinc ial Governors, City and Municipal Mayors are
earnestly invited to attend in the said webinar. Kindly fill-up the registration

emailed to the participants two (2) days before the activity.
All DILG Regional Directors are directed to facilitate the dissemination and
confirmation of their local chief executives within their jurisdiction.
Furthermore, all DILG Regional and Provincial Directors are also
requested to attend said webinar.
