PROCEDURE
● Review all of the questions students had about body image and disordered
eating. Select a few to give the volunteers to ask Dr. Cassin.
● Around 8am, start the ZOOM meeting so that Dr. Cassin can join whenever she is
ready.
● Around 8:20am, Dr. Cassin should be joining the meeting. Test out the sound,
Prior to lesson screen sharing feature, etc.
● Determine where the camera will be facing. Does she want to see the students?
May have to turn the computer around, if you can’t just turn the camera.
● Ask her about questions. Should students raise their hands? Or wait until the end?
● Remind her you will be recording, and start recording at about 8:30am (right
before you start the attention grabber).
Introduction Time
Attention Grabber Introduce Dr. Cassin to the class (again). Remind them that she is a
registered clinical and health psychologist, as well as an associate
professor of Psychology at Ryerson University. She is the Director of the 2mins
Healthy Eating and Lifestyle Lab, and she specializes in body image,
disordered eating, and more. We are very lucky to have her here today!
