2020 – Present

This position is responsible for possessing a thorough knowledge of the Gila River Gaming Internal
Controls, policies, procedures, Tribal Gaming Office, Compact and State Gaming Regulations and ensures
that blackjack are in regulatory compliance with the Tribal Gaming Office, State Gaming, Authority,
internal controls, and standard operating procedures by performing the following duties personally or
through subordinate staff, as well as demonstrating the GILA WAY.
· Promotes and provides excellent guest service experience to both internal and external guests.
· Oversees and approves all department schedules.
· Assists department director in preparing budgets employee performance review, including budget
variances, statistical fluctuations and organizational development.
· Keeps blackjack staff up to date on gaming industry news, property wide news, affecting the operations
of the enterprise.
· Responsible for implementing operating standards; customer service and productivity.
· Establishes an atmosphere that ensures a favorable gaming experience for players.
· Maintains a dependable work attendance record with extremely infrequent absence and/or lateness.
· Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.

Elderly Coordinator/Gila River Indian Community | District 3 Service Center


2016 – 2020

The Elderly Coordinator is primarily responsible for coordinating services provided to the elderly of the
Community. This position advocates, supports and coordinates respective programs and services serving
the elderly and works closely with other Tribal Departments to help ensure the elderly are achieving the
highest possible quantity of life.
· Maintain a budget that is within the operation of the elderly building.
· Identify and coordinate programs that provide services for the
· Community elderly.
· Act as an advocate for individual Tribal elders in assuring the timely provision of different service
designed for the elderly.
· Supervise and participate in daily activities of assigned staff engaged in a variety of community service
activities as necessary.
· Maintain communication with elderly groups within respective Districts to provide them with program
and service.
· Establishes and maintain effective working relationships with employees, Community Officials and
general public.
· May be required to oversee building and facility maintenance function
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
Table Games Shift Dual-Rate /Gila River Casinos | Wildhorse Pass & Lone Butte
2011 – 2014

This position is responsible for performing all dealer/supervisor duties and providing a memorable
experience for patrons while protecting the assets and following the policies and procedures of the
enterprise. While performing duties as a supervisor, this position is responsible for game integrity and
player ratings as well as complete knowledge and implementation of approved table games a
procedures and operating standards.
· Responsible for prompt, courteous and accurate dealing of assigned game in accordance Table Games
Departmental Policy and Procedures Manual.
· Ensures compliance with Gila River Casinos and Arizona Department of Gaming Compact rules and
regulations and internal controls.
· Reports any problems or suspicious activities on gaming tables to Pit Manager
· Maintains the ability and willingness to deal for lengthy periods of time, with significant periods of time
between breaks.
· Ability to handle and deal with verbal and/or behavioral conflicts.
· Maintains analytical and calculation accuracy during highly repetitive job duties.
· Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.

Security Officer/Gila River Casinos | Vee Quiva


2011 – 2011

This position is responsible for the protection of the enterprise, its assets,
employees and guest, as well as demonstrating the GILA WAY
· Welcomes and provides anticipatory guest services to guests entering the
casino main entrances.
· Performs bag checks inspections of backpacks or similar bag types to inspect for weapons, drugs or
contrabands.
· Patrols and responds to the exterior casino area (parking lots, parking garage, exterior building, land
etc.).
· Performs other duties assigned.

Police Intern/Employment & Training W.I.A


2008 – 2008

This position is responsible for learning the roles and responsibilities of a police officer.
· Accompanied certified officers within patrol and rangers.
· Attended some training with certified officers such as driving simulator, and preparation of disasters.
· Learned police radio codes.
· Learned ordinances for patrol and rangers.
· Helped with traffic control at parades and other events within the tribe.
· Performs other duties assigned.

This position is a responsible for providing excellent guest service to guests who are playing slot
machines by running chance, answering questions, explaining games and resolving issues by personally
performing the following duties.
· Promotes and provides excellent quest services experiences to both internal and external guest.
· Interacts with guests, answering their questions, explaining games and running change.
· Promptly performs jackpot payouts and verifying payouts.
· Maintains machines by quickly and efficiently resolving minor repairs and ticket fillings.
· Ensure that the slots area is clean and presentable by walking the area, removing cups and trash,
pushing in chairs, checking service lights and keeping equipment clean.
· Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.
