Personal Statement

I have always been fascinated before my entry into university the vast jobs robots are able to perform, and by way
all of these machines, vehicles and lighting devices around us were designed. The problem is, my interest was not
satisfied by revolving around the outer appearance of these machines or by how well they achieved their functions,
but was constantly demanding to learn more about how they managed to do so, find and learn more about the
design stages in the media, and what inner complexities I was not allowed to meet closely made it capable of
attracting my attention. I felt that I exceeded at mathematics and the sciences, mostly due to my curious nature and
ability to draw logical connections that many may not see.
When I entered the university, the study of mechanical engineering was my desire to be a grouping of energy
engineering in different ways and the right path through which to reach my scientific objectives. As Mechanics
combines Physics with Maths this has really helped me to appreciate the application of Physics in the real-worId,
majoring in engineering is going to give me the chance to further dive into the interesting findings of physics and finally
put the mathematical knowledge I gained during my A-levels into practical application, in the most creative ways.
During my university studies, I have the energy of its various kinds (traditional and renewable) taught about
traditional energy and the pollution and damage caused by the environment, so we find that today the world is
going to seek renewable energies that keep the environment, and due to the repercussions and damaged that
nonrenewable energy causes to the people and environment, Making the world faces a challenge in striking a
balance between sustainable development and environmental conservation. That is why we find that the
environment has become an important determinant in the world that presents itself and affects contemporary
international relations and various transactions, whether commercial or economic. For this, we find that the world
is now turning towards sustainable energy to confront environmental threats to climate change and achieve
sustainable development, addition to that, a very important group of those who change the world are engineers, but,
though, I believe that an engineer is not going to prosper if he depends only on the knowledge he graduates with.
Every engineer needs to build certain skills including leadership, business adeptness, management, and ease of
communication.
All of these factors have encouraged me to be sustainable energy for my attention, namely, solar energy and its
great role in preserving and sustaining the environment and energy for future generation.
I began developing my experience in the search for sustainable energy and its importance in my university , where
my research project for the bachelor’s degree was in the field of renewable energies, specifically in the study of sun
and wind energy.
Through my continuous research for a whole year with my colleagues in the group where I was the head of it, I
increased my knowledge more about renewable energies and their importance in preserving the environment and
people, as I got the full mark in the project, I concluded from the study that Yemen and the Arab Gulf countries are
among the best countries in investing solar energy.
My experience highly increased in solar energy after graduation, where I worked and supervised the installation of
miniature solar systems in some house and shops, and I adjusted and installed them in the right way to get the
most performance from direct and reflected solar radiation as well as diffuse.

My ambition and desire to prepare a master's letter in solar energy and to seek solution to find alternative sources of
energy in Yemen, including solar energy and ways to develop it and ways to develop the efficiency of polarization of
solar radiation using theories and research, besides the convertible skills I have gained through my experience, it
makes me fit to prepare a master in the sustainable energy field.
Finally, I hope the scholarship from your university is going to serve as the ultimate base to the journey I am taking
to achieve my dreams towards a successful engineering career.
