One major difference I notice is the FRL. In the outer city it states only a
quarter of the student have it, where in the inner city almost the whole school
has it. Maybe this is due to how much the students parents are making and
the kids in the outer city do not qualify for FRL. The only other noticeable
difference is that the inner city school has more that half in the ELL, but it
doesnt seem to be out of the ordinary concidering 92.07% of the school is
hispanic. I'd assume that the outer city kids seem more promising. From prior
knowledge more wealthy individuals trend to live on the outskirts of Las
Vegas. I would assume they would have better resources and access to
things that inner city kids might not. I think both school allow for the equal
amount of accountability. There isn't any major differences between the
schools and I'd assume that both have an equal opportunity so long as the
teachers can help to make the difference.
