Name of the Project: My favorite movie
The Lovely Bones
A fourteen year old girl is cruelly murdered, and her spirit is suspended between heaven and
Earth due to the bonds that prevent her from leaving permanently.

Main characters:
Susie Salmon: She is the main character who dies and tells the story from the sky.
Lindsey Salmon: The story centers on her after Susie's death. She is his younger sister.
Buckley Salmon: He is the youngest son of the Salmon family. Sometimes, as Susie watches him
from the sky, he gets to see her too.
Abigail Salmon: She is Susie's mother.
Len Fenerman: He is the detective in charge of the investigation into Susie's death.
George Harvey: He is the Salmon family's neighbor and Susie's killer.
Plot
The film tells the story of Susie Salmon, she is a fourteen year old girl, who in 1973 she is raped
and murdered by her neighbor, a psychopath and serial killer.
Susie tells the story from an imaginary world parallel to the real world, where she has to learn to
overcome the unfortunate event that has ended her short life.
In this imaginary world, Susie meets Hollie, she is a thirteen year old girl who helps her
understand several facts that are difficult to understand, together they begin to reinvent their
world, imagining and recreating their own.
Susie can also see the life of her family from this unreal world, day by day she watches how time
passes in the lives of the beings who loved her, while they try to clarify her murder, she also
watches how her murderer plans a next homicide.
Susie's killer, who manages to keep the murder hidden thanks to his ingenious skills and
dexterity, he is an intelligent and skilled man, who has previously committed six rapes and
homicides.
Between disunity, sadness and the need for justice, Susie's family will try to discover the
murderer, although he cleverly manages to erase all traces of the act.
In the end of the film, Harvey who is the murderer dies when he falls into an abyss, after a piece
of ice falls on him hitting him on the shoulder. Time passes, and Susie sees that her family
improves, she says that she sees it "from her heaven".
The story has a surprising outcome that makes us reflect on the importance of life, in addition to
showing us a bit of the sick world of psychopathy.
I particularly recommend this movie, as it shows us a bit of what society has become.
