Brief (100 Marks)

Select a brand of your choice that you feel lives up to the Vega Healthy Brand criteria
and write an essay using the criteria stipulated. Also, please note you may write
under headings if you so wish, but please ensure that your essay reads as a whole,
rather than individual parts.

Criteria:

Discuss what makes a “brand”; (10)


Explain the difference between ‘healthy’ and ‘unhealthy’ brands; (30)
Discuss a brand of your choice that you feel lives up to the Vega Healthy Brand
Criteria or is getting close. (60)

The fine print:

Critical thinking is required.


Ensure that you have a clear introduction, analysis, and summary.
Your level of insight into the brand influences your mark.
Your essay should approximately be five (5) to six (6) pages written in South
African English (Arial Narrow 12, 1.5 line spacing) – Please pay attention to
correct spelling and punctuation.
You need to include visuals/ videos where possible in the appendix only.
Referencing is an absolute must (If you struggle, ask for help. Do not wait until
it is too late).
Five (5) students per group.
You need a minimum of eight (8) sources in your reference list.
