 DRONETECH ENGINEERING ORGANIZATIONAL CHART IS PROJECT ORIENTED TYPE

DroneTech Engineering is a Project Oriented Organization (POO) company. It is a small firm located in San
Francisco, California that specializes in drone system technology. DroneTech engage to work with one of
the biggest pharmaceutical retailers in the country with 8000 stores in 50 states, the Wilmont Pharmacy.
As per agreement, it will customize its systems, interfaces, and business process to conform to project
requirements and goals from Wilmont’s. In PMBOK Guide book, Project Oriented Organization has full-
time designated roles, work groups arranged according by projects, project managers have high to almost
total authority, high total resources availability, project manager is the one handling the project’s budget
and project management administrative staffs are working full time. This is a large project in a big
company with high risk ventures since DroneTech will need to conform to Wilmont’s specifications. It is
also schedule drive projects, project focused and requiring a lot of coordination between your colleagues
and the Wilmot’s counterparts.
