hate SEO which is part of the reason I love list building.

over and over again - every day, every week, every month....you get the

Alright, let's get to it!


Chapter 1:
Getting The Basics
Ok, there's a few essential tools you'll need to get started:
Domain Name: This is the name of your website, you can get a free
domain name by visiting: www.cu.cc or www.freedomain.co.nr. You
can also see wix.com or weebly.com for a free website and hosting
together (although much more limited).
Hosting: This is where all the files “live” online. For free hosting options
visit: www.000webhost.com or www.00freehosting.com
Auto-Responder: This is the software that holds all the email addresses
in your list and sends out emails to your list. For a free auto-responder,
visit: www.mailchimp.com (pls note mailchimp is not recommended for
affiliate marketing purposes) or you can try out www.madmimi.com
Tracking Software: This is what will track all your links, so you know
what's working and what isn't. Free versions have their limits but here's
a couple to choose from: www.linktrack.info or www.clixtrac.com
DO NOT USE: Blogspot/Blogger, wordpress.com, Tumblr, Squidoo, or

HubPages – they are not friendly to commercial use of their sites...


I have to stop you right now.
I know this guide is all about getting you started with your list for free,
but.... Are you really serious about this? How serious??
Because the tools above I outlined for you will become your backbone
in your new business, and how serious of a business do you think you
can start using free tools?
Listen, I get it. Sometimes you just can't afford to spend any money,
and that's ok. Make some money first then reinvest that into your
business. But for those that can afford $10-$20 or more right now, DO
IT.
Invest in yourself and the rewards will be huge!
You can get a domain name for $2-$10 per year (depending on the
current discounts available at the time you read this), hosting for $5-
$10 to start with, and you can get your first 30 days of
Aweber's autoresponder services for just a buck.
So for $20 you can at least get your basics taken care of the right
way...ok, ok I'm done preaching to you. And don't worry, the other
chapters of this ebook will show you how to get everything else you
need to build a list of 500+ absolutely FREE, from squeeze pages to
traffic.


Although they're not free, these tools will save you time and
money as you scale up even further with your list building:
•Domain: I personally use Namesilo, but if I had to start all over again
I'd probably use Namecheap – its the top choice of most serious
internet marketers (although GoDaddy does offer killer discounts, but
they will nickel and dime you for every little thing you need...)
•Hosting: Here most people will recommend Hostgator, BlueHost or

sometimes even GoDaddy because they pay huge commissions to
whoever recommended them to you...but they aren't your best
options. Go with Liquidweb or VPS.net, and you can thank me later!
I used Hostgator for years without issues, but they've recently been
bought out by the same parent company that now owns BlueHost and
service has been horrible ever since...so save yourself the headache!
•Auto-Responder: There are really only 2 major contenders in the

Auto-Responder world, Aweber and GetResponse. Sure there are
others but stick with one of these two. I use both but prefer Aweber
personally. Of course you have to choose what's best for you. They
both offer free or very cheap trials to get started too.
•Tracking: You can hold off on paying for this one at first. Because
when you're ready, you'll want the best there is. And that's
Quality Click Control. It's certainly not cheap, but it's worth every penny
if you're looking to run a serious business and scale up!


Chapter 2:
Squeeze Page & Funnel
Now that the boring techie stuff is out of the way (kinda sorta), we can
get onto your squeeze page! Before we do though, you'll need to pick
out a “lead magnet”. Your lead magnet is just what will draw
subscribers to optin to your list, the “bribe.”
It's really easy to find something though (you already have the rights to
give away this ebook after all), plus I'm giving you another one in the
PLR niche right here => DOWNLOAD FREE (NO OPTIN).
If you didn't like either of the choices I have for you to give away or
neither of them were in your niche, then simply check out either
masterresellrights.com or Download PLR Products (by Kevin Fahey)
they both have sections of PLR content that you can download free, put
your name on, and give away to build your list.
As you scale up, you will want to join a PLR membership that constantly
adds new products for you to giveaway and sell! (Both options above
give away free PLR products and have options for upgrading your
membership when you're ready to)


You can buy a fiverr gig and have someone create a new cover/graphic
to freshen up any PLR that looks old and outdated. Also, read through
it first to make sure everything is still relevant. Free PLR could have
been sitting around for a while, so take a look before offering it to
someone as a free gift!
PLR memberships can be very cheap (my fav is Master Resell Rights) so
reinvest profits into this as soon as you can.
Now that you've got your free gift, you'll need a squeeze page with
your opt-in code from your autoresponder plugged in there. To get
free squeeze pages, visit:
EZ Lead Page: Just as the name implies, super easy and super quick.
This is a wordpress plugin, so you'll need to have your site created
using wordpress to use this. Click here to download this for free.
LeadPages: I use their paid services and they're awesome, but they also
have free templates available so grab them while you can! Their
designs are absolutely stunning, and end up converting very well which
is the only thing that really matters! Check the blog for free templates.
Warrior Forum: There's a lot of great stuff being given away for free on
the warrior forum nowadays! Just do a search for free squeeze pages
and you can download the html file then edit it with the free software
Kompozer. And if you're a member of The War Room (it's super cheap,
like $4/mo or something?), you can get all kinds of free stuff!


Next you'll want to find an affiliate offer as your upsell. (Tip: once
you're comfortable with all this, you'll want your own products as the
upsell) But for now, we'll stick with just using and affilliate offer
because this is always free.
The best 3 places to go for internet marketing products are Clickbank,

JV Zoo and WarriorPlus. Pick something where the front end product is
between $7 and $17 (the best is under $10 for this offer).
You will want to also look for something that sells well (high Earnings
Per Click), has a funnel you can also get commissions on and would be
valuable to your new subscriber. And make sure the offer you pick is in
the same niche as your lead magnet!
Picking a high converting One Time Offer (whether its your own
product or an affiliate product) will set you up to be able to afford
paid traffic in no time, so keep testing different offers!
You will add the link to the affiliate offer you've chosen into your
autoresponder as the “thank you” page. You'll also want to add the
link into the “already subscribed” pages.
BONUS: To maximize your returns, add an exit popup to your squeeze

page. Your exit popup can take your visitors to a pay per lead offer. (A
pay per lead offer is somewhere that someone pays you for every
single visitor you send them that opts into their squeeze page). Free
exit popup code is here, just get your referral link from the pay per lead
program and insert it into the code, then put that code into your html
squeeze page using the free program Kompozer.

Chapter 3:
Traffic. Traffic. Traffic.
I know at least half of the people that picked up this book just skimmed
through the first 2 chapters just to get to here...and I'm cool with that!
Traffic is (almost) everything...after all without someone visiting your

offer, there's no way they're buying from you, right!?
Just don't forget about copy writing, because you need your traffic to
actually join your list and buy from you!
Before I get into the free traffic methods we'll be going over, I have to
tell you that when you use free traffic, you are still paying for it.
Wait...What?
The only difference is that you pay with your time instead of money.
Time to do the steps to get the traffic and the time it takes to actually
see results from what you're doing (free traffic doesn't happen
overnight). By testing your funnel and tracking your numbers correctly,
you'll be able to know when you can afford to start using paid traffic.


But money loves speed... and that's why I love paid traffic.
I'm obviously biased being that I'm a solo ad vendor myself (shameless
plug coming up, brace yourself!), but solo ads are the fastest, easiest
and most cost effective way to build any list. You can contact me

Of course there are a bunch of ways to get free traffic but this guide
will only be covering 3 free traffic techniques that will build your list to
500 the fastest. And (another shameless plug here, watch out!) for just
$1 I'll send you over my guide with over 100 sources and links to get
unlimited amounts of FREE TRAFFIC.
By now you should have your domain name, hosting, autoresponder,

squeeze page, affiliate offer and tracking. Make sure all links are
working, that your autoresponder is sending the correct welcome
message and that you are being directed to your affiliate offer. Test
everything, then test it all again just to be sure!
If for whatever reason ALL those things are not in place, or you need to
fix a link then please DO NOT start sending any traffic yet! Any traffic
you start sending before everything is in place to properly handle that
person visiting your squeeze page is costing you money, time and/or
effort.
BONUS: In the resources section there is a MASSIVE listing of sites that

you can use to get free traffic. And I've got them all categorized for you
too!


Once everything is ready and working, these are the 3 free traffic
methods I recommend to build your list:
•Forum Posting: Easily one of the best ways to get targeted visitors to
your squeeze page. There are so many active forums so no matter what
niche you're in, there is plenty of traffic there just waiting for you.
•ClickBanking: This has absolutely nothing to do with Clickbank.com!

This is just “banking” clicks between 2 people with lists. There are
dozens of new clickbanking partnerships made everyday, so this is
super easy to get started with.
•Document Sharing: When this is done the right way and on a

consistent basis, you will start seeing a stream of traffic to your
squeeeze page (and signing up to your list of course!).
Maybe you're thinking “what about youtube/facebook/twitter/etc?” or

“why isn't he covering SEO/guest blogging/ad swaps/etc?” or
something like that...
Listen, you can drive traffic hundreds of thousands of different ways

with an infinite number of spins on each traffic source. But the 3
methods I'll outline will grow your list for free, and are some of the
quickest and easiest free methods available (which is why I like them!)


Forum Posting.
By far one of the most effective and popular forms of getting loads of
targeted free subscribers, and for good reason – it works in any niche
you find yourself in, and it works like gangbusters if done correctly.
The basic principle is this – find forums in your niche (if you're in the
internet marketing niche, the best place to start is the Warrior Forum).
Post quality content giving true value, while having the link to your
squeeze page in your signature or in your post (depending on the forum
rules for the site you're posting in). When people read your
post/thread/comments, they see and follow your link, then go to your
squeeze page and sign up to your list.
Finding forums is really easy, just remember that quality will always be
better than quantity... Find a forum that is active, the users are
engaged and there is a lot of traffic talking about your niche and you've
got a winner.
To find forums, google is the best way to do it, just type in:
“the name of your niche” + “forum”

“the name of your niche” + “vbulletin”
“the name of your niche” + “phpbb”


There is an endless amount of traffic available by doing this type of
thing. Here are a few key points to make the most of it:
•Don't Spam: Spamming your link without delivering any value to a

forum is an easy way to get booted from that forum. And even if they
don't ban you, you won't gain respect or many clicks on your link.
•Get Your Rep Up: Before you ever post a link to your squeeze page in
a forum, you should have a post count of at least 10 (preferably 20 or
more, again the more the merrier!). And don't just post something like
“cool idea”or “I like that” to get your post count up, people know what
you're doing... and moderators will boot you.
•Go Big: Look for threads with a lot of activity. Most forums show you
the total posts in the thread and how many views its had. Look for the
bigger numbers, that is where your new subscribers are!
•Stay Up To Date: Post in topics that are at the top of the forums, these
are usually the most recent. People always look at the newer posts,
plus you will start to understand what the hot topics are so you can use
those keywords in your own posts and comments.


Clickbanking.
When I first saw an offer for a “clickbanking partner”, I was so

confused!!
Once I realized what it was, all I could think was that they need a better
name for this... I'm sure I wasn't the only one that was confused.
Maybe because of the confusion, even though it's one of the best
sources for completely free subscribers, its not as popular as it should
be. You will actually hear more about adswaps (which are usually an
inferior alternative in my opinion)...although recently a
new site called Lead Swaps is starting to change all that.
For those that don't know, clickbanking is just when 2 people agree to
send clicks to each other. Usually, those clicks come from emailing to
each other's list, exit pop ups or anywhere within the funnel. Basically
it's a way for you to get solo ad like traffic for free. But it takes some
work, and good organizational skills to do it well.
This technique will be much easier if you already have a list, but I know
you probably don't so it gets a little more complicated, but is still a
terrific source of some of the best traffic available. In other words,
don't sleep on this free traffic method!


Here's what you'll have to do to get started clickbanking:
•Find Clickbanking Partners: Search the Warrior Forum and join

clickbanking groups on Facebook. You will need to find people who can
send first and also people who you will send to first. These 2 groups of
people will feed each other clicks with you getting your free clicks and
subscribers in the meantime!
•Add Your Rotator Link: You will build up a “click debt” with this
method, since you will owe more clicks than you can send so that's why
you'll need to track everything and also get a link rotator. What this
does is let's you put one link everywhere and change out what it links
to any time you want. This will come in handy to reduce your click debt.
•Link It Up: You need 2 rotator links, one will have the link to your
squeeze page in it, the other will have links to your clickbanking
partners, pay per lead offers and any CPA offers you're promoting. You
will add the second link in a PS in your welcome message and
broadcasts from your autoresponder and in your exit pop up. When
you build up click debt, add your clickbanking partners' links to the
rotator link with your squeeze page and that should catch you up as
long as you're driving enough free traffic to your squeeze page link.


Document Sharing.
This is one of my favorite free methods because its one of those where
you do the work once and it keeps paying you back over and over.
Document sharing is simply posting a word doc or pdf file on a doc
sharing website. Then this doc can be downloaded for free, and if its
good and has the right keywords, you can get loads of traffic to it!
You will need at least one (but the more the merrier) pdf ebook to load
onto the sites – but before you load anything, make sure you edit it.
The key to this method is all in the links! By using rotator links you
control, you could make a pdf that goes to a different link every time
someone clicks on it...cool stuff, I know!
Just add the rotator link to your squeeze page in the header and/or
footer area of each page. Then when someone downloads or views
your ebook, you get traffic to your squeeze page and more subscribers
to your list!
Usually, you can get an all in one link tracking and link rotating tool, like
what Clixtrac offers for free.


This process is pretty simple, so I'll just list some key tips for success:
•Cover graphics: Different document sharing sites do this different

ways, but most will display your first page as the image on their site.
Make sure that image is nice and optimized for more views!
•The Links: If you really want to maximize your earning potential here,
edit a PLR ebook (like the one I give you for free!) and add both of the
rotator links you created and add links to any affiliate programs you are
a member of.
•Pay Yourself Forward: The best part of this method is that you edit
and upload an ebook once and that's it, your work is done! Now how
many times do you think you can do that in a day? Week? Month? As
with all free traffic methods, the more time you put into it, the more
subscribers you will get out of it!
The trick here is posting to as many sites as possible, as many times as

possible... Once again, with free traffic you pay with your time, so the
more time you put into it, the more traffic you will get from it!
