CT STUDY OF HEAD

Infratentorial

 Fourth ventricle is normal in size and midline in location.

 Cerebellar parenchyma and brain stem appears to be normal.

Supratentorial

 Hyperdensity of blood is seen in right frontal region, along cortical sulci and CSF
spaces and in basal cisterns and sylvian fissures..

 Both the cerebral hemisphere appear grossly normal.

 Third and both lateral ventricles are mildly dilated ..

 No midline shift is seen.

IMPRESSION:

SUBARACHNOID BLEED WITH MILDLY DILATED VENTRICLES.

MILD DIFFUSE CEREBRAL ATROPHY.
