● Students will identify the narrator’s perspective, and compare and explain how the
different points of view affect the overall meaning of a text
● Students will assess if the amount and quality of gathered information is appropriate to
the purpose of solving the mystery. Specifically they will determine whether the 1 st
Person or 3rd Person narration provides better quality information
● Students will connect new information with prior knowledge to build new understanding
in relation to the mystery
