Lesson Plan Using QFT

I. Background and Teaching Goals

Subject and Grade Level: ECONOMICS for 9th Grade

Topic: Supply and Demand

Learning Objectives:
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
1. Define supply and demand.
2. Identify the factors that affect the supply and demand.
3. Analyze situation that will increase or decrease supply and demand.
4. Create question of their own to start a query.

QFT will be part of the introduction and discussion of the lessons


QFT will be used to generate student thinking about the new content and generate interest in
the topic.

The students’ question will be use to prepare for a presentation and to gather information.

The student will be shown the graph of supply and demand using excel.
