Probably, that at some moment in our lives, everyone experiences pain.

Pain is part of our life that we

sense and experience because it is one of our sources of learning. We hurt after we understand, we
adjust to a better person, and we don't make the mistake again that causes us pain.

As we get older our cognition changes over time both biological as well as psychological. Some of these
improvements may be for the best, others may not be for the better. In Piaget's cognitive stages of
development, he clearly explained that as we mature our mental abilities and processes change or
develop over time and stated 4 cognitive stages of development started at the sensorimotor stage
wherein this stage we are still trying to discover the consequences of our actions, in the pre-operational
stage in this stage we are still trying to learn simple forms of language, in the concrete operations stage
it where formal schooling will start and lastly in the formal operations stage this is where in personal
values and philosophies are being developed.
