Reaction Activity: Privacy

After I’ve watched the video titled “Know Your Data Privacy Right!” I’ve learned about
the privacy issues here in the Philippines. Now I know that the government really care for our
privacy by creating ‘Republic Act – RA 10173 or Data Privacy Act of 2012’ for us, the people to
have a protection to the hackers or scammers that will endanger our privacy or even our life. I
also learned that we should really secure the people that we trust our private information because
they can use it to scam others or even identity theft.
The new thing that I’ve learned is the profiling of the companies that they pass to other
companies to use it so they can do the direct marketing to the people. After I’ve watched the
video, I will be really cautious to the free things that other people give. I will secure my private
info by observing if the people who give free stuff is really suspicious then if I want the free stuff
but the people were really suspicious, I will fake the info that I will give so my real private info
will be safe.
