World, dark and bright

Spinning mindlessly
Twenty-four thousand miles per hour
Noticing nothing and everything bound
By your gravity

False hopes
Endless dreams
The coming to fruition of death
And the life hereafter
Not defined, but an ephemeral space
Somewhere unknown, yet not unknowable

Peace lies ahead for the gallant knight

Who knows not to dream but pray
That his hunt be populated by
The friendly saints that hope
Faith and trust manifest
Worlds unseen, worlds imagined,
And worlds within worlds.
