WEEK 1
Monday  Read and study “ Lesson 1: Qualities of Quantitative Research” (analyze and
study the terminologies)
 Answer pp. 11-13 [Study Guide]
Wednesday  Review Lesson 1
 Answer “Student Activity”
(Task Objective: In this activity, you should be able to identify scientific inquiries
that require a quantitative research approach.)
 Answer “Student’s Activity”
(Activity Output: Complete the table below by identifying 5 objects and their
corresponding descriptors. Then, answer the guide questions that follow.)
WEEK 2
Monday  Read and study “ Lesson 2: Types of Quantitative Research”
 Answer p. 2 and p. 4 item 3 [Study Guide]
 Answer pp. 14-15 [Study Guide]
Wednesday  Review Lesson 2
 Answer “Student Worksheet”
In this activity, you should be able to differentiate between the two main types
of quantitative research.

WEEK 3
Monday  Read and study “ Lesson 3: Variables in Quantitative Research”
 Answer p. 2-3 [Study Guide] – individual activity and not by group
 Answer “Student Worksheet”
(Task Objective: In this activity, you should be able to identify the independent
and the dependent variable in each situation.)
Wednesday  Answer pp. 11-13 [Study Guide]
 Do “Unit Performance Task”
WEEK 4
Monday  Read and study “Lesson 1: Identifying a Quantitative Research Problem”
 Answer pp. 2-3 [Lesson 1 Study Guide]
(You may collaborate with your friends. Make sure to list down the names who
helped you)
 Answer “Student Worksheet”
(Task Objective: In this activity, you should be able to determine different topics
in a field of inquiry.)
 Read and study “Lesson 2: Writing Research Title”
Wednesday  Review Lesson 2 and answer “Student Activity”
(Task Objective: In this activity, you should be able to evaluate good research
titles.)
 Read and study “Lesson 3: Writing Research Background”
 Answer the (long) quiz.
 Do “Unit Performance Task: Topic Proposal”
*TIME: 1:20 PM – 3:20 PM
NOTE:
Since this is modular- DIGITAL, you really need to READ EVERYTHING, but do not hesitate to ask
for your teacher’s guidance.
Also, WATCH the videos for a better understanding. And to accomplish your outputs, you may edit
the file that is in MS Word and/or put your answer in MS Word file.
Distance Learning is really challenging both on our ends, but your active participation will be a great
help for the success of this new normal set-up.
I am just one-chat away for questions and clarifications. HOWEVER, it would be really appreciated if
you contact me during PR2 time which is 1:20 PM – 3:20 PM every Monday and Wednesday. You
have to understand that I also have other classes aside from yours, and in that proposed set-up, it
would be easier for me to track and answer your messages. Also, I ask for your compliance to the set
schedule. Strictly follow them as long as possible.
For your group thesis, kindly keep yourself updated through my announcement/s on your FB group or
Messenger. Groups will be determined randomly and will be based on your chosen modality.
