DAGANI, KAREN GRACE M.

1. Does clarity of focus mean all teachers must have the same focus and use the same methods?
-Our uniqueness is our magic. Therefore, teachers could have the same focus or goal but
methods might be different. As a future educator, we should concentrate on guiding the pupils
develop their skills. Different strategies could be made. We can have activities in line with
enhancing their knowledge and passion for them to enable to achieve clearly the expected
outcomes. We can always work it out, in so many ways, as long as we don’t forget the focus
which is to make a marked difference in the pupils’ lives.

2. Does expanded opportunity means students can take as long as they want to learn something or
to complete their work?
Yes, it could also be when pupils can’t attend the said activity that time but has valid reason,
expanded opportunity could be done. As educator, we should be considerate, open-minded,
and understanding. We should ensure creative ways of using time and offering extra learning
support to those children who need it most.

3. How do high expectations relate to having and enforcing high standards?

-If we got to see it carefully, high expectations is the right hand, high standard is the left hand. They
need to work together to achieve a goal. Otherwise high expectations with lower standard are using one
hand with the other hand cut off.

4. Does employing design down principle mean that important things will be removed from curriculum?

No, employing design down principle is like sorting out things first. From specific to general. Clarifying
first the intention and the goal. So that, instructional actions are then taken to ensure that the desired
end result is achieved.

CleaWhen this has been completed, all instructional actions are then

taken to ensure that the desired end result is achieved.
