“Good morning everyone, welcome to another special session. ​Today this task of moderation of
this prestigious keynote session is a great privilege.

In light of the current situation with the COVID-19 pandemic, JECRC reaffirms its commitment
to betterment of students, which is by this keynote series, a masterclass by corporate leaders.
Here we have invited some of the best corporate leaders to help students understand the
industry changes that will be happening post pandemic. Speakers share their thoughts & gaze
into the crystal ball in free and frank discussions.

There has been a spike in concerns in hiring around the world, corporates are brainstorming on
how to minimize the hiring gap & restart the momentum, & what the future holds for the
students.

Today we have the privilege to listen to a special guest speaker address these issues.
This is why we are here, addressing ​“Paradigm shift in corporate hirings in the post COVID-19
Era“. This is a subject in which we should all be deeply interested because it’s by preparing
ourselves we can overcome challenges of the future. Since we still have time to prepare, we can
best ensure our corporate futures.

Our speaker, although having a diverse experience like 2decades in the army then more than 14
years as HR in the telecom industry is here to talk about strategies, tactics & best possible
approach from his profound experience specially for you guys.

Major General T.K Das, D.S.M
Alumni Of National defence Academy, Served in the Indian Army, 38 & half year in the
corps(pronounced as core) of signal, retired as major general in 2011.
He then joined JECRC, presently he is the Director of Student Affairs, also looking after the
Student leadership development, the social initiatives & outreach. Besides this he’s also
involved in academics.
Pragathi Kumar Achanta Intro:
Senior HR professional with the ability to build and lead large HR teams. He has a proven track 
record of delivering business goals through people initiatives and employer brand building. He 
would like to think of myself as a trusted friend, dependable partner and a natural leader with varied 
interests. He is passionate about HR and opportunities to transform organisations. Being a people's 
person and making a positive difference to people gives me a high. 
 
His core competencies are HR Strategy, Organisation Development, Workforce Management, 
Outsourcing & Offshoring and HR Operations. His current interests also include Labor Law 
Compliance, HR Policies, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Engagement, Talent Development, 
Succession Planning and Leadership Training. 
He tends to set high ethical standards in my personal and professional conduct. He is usually the 
ideas man who would come up with HR initiatives to solve a business problem, volunteer to build a 
team and lead a complex project or just take the Kaizen approach to everything HR.  
Has extensive experience in conducting investigations, Courts of Inquiry, recording evidence,
defending officer & prosecutor in military court martial. Never lost a case either as Defending
Officer or as Prosecutor. Every case investigated by me led to conviction. 100% record.
In his civilian Avatar, he faced 74 labour compliance notices on a single day in my first civilian
job. Perhaps a national record.
Educated himself on labour law and cleared all the notices without paying a single ₹ as fine.
Over time, this helped him become an expert on labour law and compliance.
