Comedians Ron White, Lewis Black, Kathleen Madigan and Alex Reymundo and NASCAR
Driver Kurt Busch (Attached) Comedian Ron White, a member of the nationally known
"Blue Collar Comedy Tour" (the tour also included Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall
and Larry the Cable Guy), will visit Fort Campbell on Monday, 14 February 2011,
as part of his "Salute to the Troops Tour."

Accompanying Mr. White will be Kurt Busch, 2004 NASCAR Nextel Cup
Series Champion, and nationally know comedians Lewis Black, Kathleen Madigan and
Alex Reymundo.

The celebrities will be available from 2:45 p.m. - 3:55 p.m. Monday for a "meet &
greet"/autograph session inside the Post Exchange (PX) Main Store.

Ron White is an American standup comedian who has had
two Grammy Award-nominations and has sold over 10 million CDs
and DVDs. He is a charter member of the Blue Collar Comedy
Tour and has worked along side Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, and
Larry the Cable Guy. He served in the United States Navy where he
was given the nickname "Tater Salad" by fellow sailors who teased
White for his love of potato salad. He is an active supporter of our
military and eagerly makes time wherever he goes to say thank you
to those in uniform.

Lewis Black, An American stand-up comedian, author, playwright, and actor.

He is known for his comedy style, which often includes simulating a mental

Kurt Busch is a high-ranked NASCAR and NHRA driver. He will drive the
#22 Shell/Pennzoil Dodge in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series in 2011. Busch won
the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Championship in 2004 and with a 2006 win in
the Nationwide Series, Busch became one of only 21 drivers with a win in all

Scholarship Application
The Enlisted Spouses’ Club (ESC) at Fort Campbell will award scholarships to Family members of active-
duty, retired, or deceased military personnel of all ranks. The applicant is to be enrolled or plan to enroll
in college (undergraduate or post-graduate study) or vocational school. The sponsor of the applicant
must live within 40 miles of Fort Campbell. Applicants whose sponsors are on unaccompanied tours
may, on a case-by-case basis, be granted a waiver of the 40-mile requirement.

1. TO BE ELIGIBLE, APPLICANT MUST HOLD A CURRENT MILITARY FAMILY MEMBER ID CARD.
2. The applicant is to attend college or vocational school during the academic year 2011-2012.
3. Awarded funds will be sent directly to recipients’ school of choice to an account established in
their name.
4. Two Scholarship Character References (use attached form only) must be included with the
application. One of the references should be from direct supervisors in either community-
service or paid positions, and the other should be from a person of your choice, not related to
you.
5. Completed application packets must be postmarked no later than April 15, 2011 and mailed to:
