For most, 2020 is a year they would

Despite Loss, Lady
Bulldogs Pull Together
Story and photos by Dave Walters
Victories have been few and far
between for the Lady Bulldogs Volleyball
Team, but the relationships they have
built easily overshadows the numbers in
the loss column.
Thursday night, seniors Laila
Huffman, Madison Aguilera, Aleah
Killebrew and Mercedes Krueger were
honored at the Dog House prior to the
Lady Bulldogs’ 3-0 loss to Gulf.
While Huffman and Aguilera have
been together since childhood, Killebrew
and Krueger are recent additions to the
ZHS volleyball family. The four seniors
were joined by their families as they
were recognized by head coach Joey
Galyan to celebrate their senior season
and soon bid farewell to the program.
