EXCEL EXAM 1

1. Open Sauce Sales and save as your last name Sauce Sales. Name the sheet tab sales.
2. Merge and center rows 1 and 2 across the spreadsheet. Apply the Title heading style to rows 1 and 2. Apply the
Heading 2 style to the column headings.
3. Enter the text TOTAL in cell A18. Enter the formula in cell B18 to determine the total bottles sold in column B.
4. Enter the text AVERAGE in cell A19. In cell B19 Enter the formula to determine the average bottles of column B.
5. Enter the text BOTTLES SOLD as a two-line column heading in cell E4 and format the cell with the Heading 2
style. Enter the formula to determine the total number of bottles sold for January in cell E5 and copy formulas
down to cell E16.
6. Format row 16 using the total cell style.
7. Enter the text BONUS in cell F4. In cell F5 enter a formula that will apply a $200 bonus if total sales in column E
are greater than 110. If sales do not exceed 110, show 0 in that column.
8. Format column F with currency without decimals and right-align the numbers.
9. Apply a rule to column C indicating that any value above 40 will appear with a green fill and text.
10. Add the text GOAL into cell G4. In cell G5 enter the formula to multiply the Honey Ginger bottles sold by the
amount in cell I3. Copy the formula down the column. (there should not be zeroes in the column) and change
the values to remove decimals.
11. Create a 3D pie chart showing the total number of bottles sold for each month. Move the chart to a separate
sheet and name the sheet pie total bottles. Delete the legend. Enter TOTAL BOTTLES as the chart title. Enlarge
the font and change the font color as you see fit.
12. Add data labels displaying only the month and the percentage of bottles sold for each month. Bold the labels,
enlarge font, and change color of labels.
13. Edit the chart so that only the months January through June display.
14. Rotate the slices so that March appears at the top. Explode the February slice of the pie.
15. Create a 3D clustered column chart that compares World Famous and Honey Ginger sales for each month on a
separate chart sheet. Name the sheet column ginger and honey.
16. Add Honey and Ginger Sales as the chart title. Add a horizontal axis title Months to the chart. Add a vertical axis
title Bottles Sold.
17. Add a picture to the top of the Sales sheet by searching for barbeque. Remove any text that might have come in
along with the picture. Reduce the picture size to 1” by 1” and move to the upper left-hand corner of the
spreadsheet.
18. Add a header and enter your name at the center. Add a footer that shows the date command at the left and the
time at the right.
19. Change the sheet to landscape and make sure it fits on one page. Add gridlines and row and column headings
