1. What is the CPP-NPA-NDFP and its crimes in the Philippines?

- (CPP) On December 26, 1968, coinciding with the 75 th birthday of Mao Zedong
Chairman of the Chinese Communist Party, the Communist Party of the
Philippines (CPP) was reestablished. The reestablishment of the party was led by
Amado Guerrero, then a member of the central committee of the Partido
Komunista ng Pilipinas, or PKP-1930. Jose Maria Sison, allegedly the man behind
Amando Guerrero’s nom de guerre. Confirmed his birth at Barangay Dulacac in
the Pangasinan Province tri-border of Alaminos, Bani and Mabini.

- (NPA) The New People’s Army was formed on March 23, 1969, following split
between the Lava and Guerrero factions of the Communist Party of The
Philippines. Over the past decades, errors have led to the PKP-1930’s virtual
demise as an organization. Following the establishment of Kabataang Makabayan
and the emerging prominence of Mao Tse Tsung Thought as an advance of
intellectual Marxism-Leninism, the 1960s saw a revival in radical ideology.

- (NDFP) Many of its associated organizations, including kabataang Makabayan and

Malayang Kilusan ng Bagong Kababaihan, had already existed prior to the
formation of the NDF, uniting many youth members, women, peasant and
workers for a progressive national democratic.

- Yes this CPP-NPA-NDFP is a crime in the Philippines because they rebel to the
government and fight to the innocent people. This group is so dangerous because
they are terrorist because they don’t have professionality to their group.

2. How does it affect our image as a Globalized Filipino? How about those nations
without insurgents and terrorists like CPP-NPA

-For me this affect our images looks many terrorist in our country and other
country scared to visit because of many rebels like CPP and NPA and they affect
our economy instead of joining in Professional Army and Police they build a rebel
group and Filipino vs Filipino we don’t need a rebel group we need a unity for our
country to be grow and rich. They are successful country without rebel because
they don’t pull down each other because they want to help each other to grow
their country and business.

 3. What are the implications of youth recruitment of CPP-NPA in terms of (1)
security and (2) development?

For me to the security of youth we need to explain them how bad to join in rebel
group like CPP and NPA because if the youth student join in rebel they don’t have
a good future for his life and to avoid joining in terror group because if they join
nothing will be gained in they life they gain pain and stressed. We need to
develop the youth because we need to wake up our youth students to not join in
terror group and to explain how bad this CPP and NPA.

4. How can we and you (as a student and future professional) help our nation to
counter insurgency and terrorism in the Philippines to focus on wholistic
development.

As a student I can help our nation by educating the youth children we need to
wake up them to do not join in terror group and rebel because this group they
don’t have benefits the benefits of this group is stress and pain because they
fight in innocent people living in our country. And we need to focus in
characterize development to know the habit of the people.

5. Final Thoughts / Conclusion

My final thoughts we need to avoid the youth in rebels because they don’t have a
good influence in their life. We don’t a rebel in this country for peace because we
have a same race we need to help each other to grow our country. We need to
educate the youth to know the reality in world and how bad to join in rebel
country.
