1)Ulysses programme helped the next generation of partners in PWC, to overcome the barriers and
forging a connection with clients all over the world making it a crucial part of their jobs. Ulysses
programme helped these employees to acquire these skills with real time experience while on the
job that a M.B.A would not provide

2)By tradition and necessity, new PwC leaders were nurtured from within. But with 8,000 partners
who were identified who have the necessary business savvy and relationship- building skills it wasn’t
easy for PWC so programmes like Ulysses can be used to identify and train up-and-coming leaders who
are able to find unconventional answers to intractable problems. It also gives PwC a new view of
them, particularly their ability to hold up under pressure. Formal courses fail to give these kind of
