7. Tell a story about an experience in your life that illustrates a saying.

We can never succeed without trying out something and facing failures. If we do
not make any efforts, we cannot expect any good result for our endeavor. My dad
always says, that nothing ventured, nothing gained and I think, that it makes sense.
My best friend wanted to be a policeman. She often told me, that she interested in
this profession. After 10th class Ann decided to enter the National Academy of
Internal Affairs. She started to prepare to school exams, which were important to
enter to this Academy and, also, to physical examination. But the most of all she
was afraid of one thing. It was the sport test. So, how Ann wasn’t in a great shape,
she decided to do different exercises. She was running before school, went to a
gym and tried to eat healthy food. After half of a year other people started to notice
changes, but it didn’t give her more confidence. She just was afraid of this test.
And unexpectedly she changed his tune and refused to enter to the Academy,
because she so worried that she isn’t in a good enough shape. I tried to support her,
because this test was hit or miss and one way or another it’s important even just to
try. But no one didn’t convince her. So, she entered to another university. Now,
Ann doesn’t feel satisfied and she regrets about earlier decision. She just repeats,
that nothing ventured, nothing gained and that she missed her chance.
So, all of us should take efforts to get the results that we want. We shouldn’t
afraid off everything, because there is always a chance that fortune will smile to us.
