Building a Strong Family Ties: Saving a Cost for a Peace of Mind

 Would you rather be happy spending money for your family to the extent that you can no

longer save? Or would you rather save for the future to the extent that you cannot afford to be

happy ang buy the things that can give happiness to your family?

As a famous saying goes, “A family that saves together, stays forever.”

There will always be this one thing which holds the family tighter and keeps its foundation

stronger; one thing which cannot be seen, cannot be felt and cannot be touched. There is this

one not so strange and effective formula but only few dares to try. Love? That is what most

probably think. But in reality, love has failed to hold a lot of family relationships according to Mark

Manson in 2014, a life enthusiast, as he contradicts John Lennon for a song he wrote called “All

You Need Is Love”. Despite its intangibility, the thing which can bind the family stronger is more

appropriate to be life insurance. Funny and impossible as it may sound, but life plans, in many

aspects, can protect the family your parents built and the family that you are about to build in the

future.

If you wonder how life insurance helps to keep the foundation of your family stronger, try

to ask yourself “Will the member of my family and I remain happily together when we have no

house to stay in?”, “Will it be alright to see my parents lack everything as long as they are

married?” or “As a child, will I be contented knowing that my parents have no enough savings to

send me to college?” If no, then the importance of life insurance in keeping your family strong

might be clear to you. Life insurance can give you peace of mind knowing that the family you

have will remain intact and strong with whatever circumstances you encounter.

No matter how happy your family might appear, there is always a fine line between a

happy and a strong family bond, which is why it is a good idea to review the need of your family

and each of its member for a life insurance. Considering the following aforementioned questions,
let me give you an idea of how life insurance works towards strengthening the foundation of your

family.

“Will the member of my family and I remain happily together when we have no house to

stay in?”. First, housing. Life insurance can play a great role when the family wants to purchase

a new house or add some renovations and improvements. Your family might be happily together

for quite some times without a house to stay in but there is a very low possibility that you remain

happy with that situation for a long period of time. Instances as such can lead to separations of

parents due to financial instability. Life insurance helps the family to cover the mortgage or other

home equity obligations that leads the purchase of your family’s dream home to reality. Thus,

reducing the risk of separation of the family members, on the other side, providing a happy home

environment for your family.

Second, assurance. “Will it be alright to see my parents lack everything as long as they

are married?”. Marriage will not be enough to hold a family together. Life insurance helps

couples to maintain the provision of what the family needs may it be for the present or for the

future. As a wise married person, marriage will be the perfect time to start acquiring life

insurance because it is when you start sharing your life, your debt and all your finances with the

one you love. When you and your family become insured, the assurance to have a stronger

foundation will exceed of being just because of the marriage, itself, but also because of the good

plans your parents set right from the beginning of their marriage.

And finally, education. “As a child, will I be contented knowing that my parents have no

enough savings to send me to college?”. A life insurance can greatly help to provide protection

for your family's increased income needs and any debt you may have taken on, including

expenses for higher education. A carefully executed life insurance policy can help families

prepare for uncertainties and give peace of mind to every member knowing that the future of
everyone, especially the children, is secure. When families acquired insurance for college

education, the risk for the children of the not being able to graduate will reduce together with the

possibility to have an unhappy and financially challenged family in the future. Thus, life insurance

for child education strengthens the family ties.

Life insurance is an affordable way to start planning for the future of the whole family. It

provides financial security to those who mean the most to you. The foundation of the home you

once built becomes more sturdy and ready for the storms that are just about to come. As your life

progresses together with the life of your family members, you will likely accrue greater financial

responsibilities for yourself and your loved ones. There is only a small cost required to obtain a

peace of mind; a small cost in exchange of a happy and strong family without a fine line in

between.

For the families out there, there is just one thing I want you to remember, start saving

together and stay happy forever. You no longer have to choose.
