An Interesting Experience

As I have my Demo teaching in Saint Anne

Elementary School under grade level 4, 5 and 6 it could not be easy for me to take it
because some part maybe confusing, in different subjects that’s given to you by your
cooperating teacher. You need to take the risk for your learners, giving of more activities
and fun group activities. Discuss deepen your subject matter to have the clear
instruction of the lesson and see to it that your students are able to follow your rules.
Have a good experiencing of the lesson. As I execute my first subject in grade 5
English, at first I became nervous but as the lesson is on going I found myself giving the
clear instruction for them to understand and easy to come up with the learnings, I
provide a lot of activities and I discuss the lesson very well, until I go to the second
subject in grade 4 which is English also, I much deepen my insight and understanding
with the subject to be tackle. I explain further the topic before giving some activities. The
experiencing in teaching is great and enjoyable as you also coordinate with your
cooperating teacher. I have fun to the class and make have a good relation with them.
First is introducing yourself with them as their teacher, second as their friend, third you
could also feel the chance of being a second mother who gives clear instructions and
guidance for them to lead in a good learnings. My students are very much attentive to
the class, they are active and easy to catch up their attention because they will listen to
you respectfully and about to your subject lesson they are actually know their
responsibility, so within in your class they will be responsive, so you need to expect to
have a possible good outcomes. I know I start my lesson and we make a complex and a
wonderful journey of experience, I also end it up just like there’s no for tomorrow
because I believe that I did my very best. For the whole day it’s probably the day that I
cannot forget, even I just get tired of teaching start when I arrive 7:30 from the class
until to the end of my subject, I teach them at 12:50 my last period before I leave the
classroom, I think it’s another fruitful day for me and not to stop dreaming and aiming for
high but it could help me to build more courage and being much motivated with my life
profession.

Some advices of my cooperating teacher:

 As their facilitator be firm with my answers when my student ask some question
 Just be calm when executing the lessons
 Provide creative activity and see to it that I should only consume the time allotted
for my lesson
 Acquire the pertaining standard of the subjects and make everything flexible
 Manage my time
