Lookup Customization Level

The customization level of a lookup type determines whether users can add new lookup codes:
·    S (System): Users cannot add new lookup codes but can edit the meanings and descriptions of seeded ones
·    E (Extensible): Users can add new lookup codes but cannot edit seeded ones, except to modify the meaning
·    U (User): No seeded lookup codes are provided, so users can add new ones as needed.

Tags

The value of the Tag attribute for a lookup code determines how the lookup code is displayed in the application:

• No value:  The lookup code value will appear in a LOV for all legislations, unless other restrictions are applied.
• Value contains a leading ‘+’ followed by one or more legislation codes (such as +SA, US, ZA): The looku
will appear in a LOV only for LDGs with legislation codes matching one of the codes in the tag. For example, if
is +SA, US, ZA, then the lookup code will appear only for LDGs with a legislation code of SA US, or ZA.

• Value contains a leading ‘-’ followed by one or more legislation codes (such as -SA, US, ZA): The lookup
