Sa Classroom Layout Rationale
Rationale:
This classroom layout is made for a high school English Language Arts classroom. The goal of this classroom layout is to incorporate
cooperative learning, having students work in smaller groups of two to four to work on assigned group work that they will turn in or
they will present to the whole class. Using this layout will decrease the chaos of students forming groups themselves because they will
already be in ones made by myself. Another thing this helps with is when students need to form shoulder partners to discuss
something quick during a lesson. Besides preset groups, this layout also helps with active movement from the teacher, allowing them
to walk around easily throughout the period to be available to assist and supervise. Multiple bulletin boards are spread throughout the
room to showcase the classroom expectations/procedures, class calendar, helpful tips/tricks for the class, and any other important
information that needs to be displayed.
