description of the current state of research in Industry 4.0 in supply chain and related future trends in
research and practice.

2. Research Paper:- APPLICATION OF OPERATIONS RESEARCH FOR PRODUCTION

MANAGEMENT IN SKB SOFT SOLUTIONS
D. Jeyanthi Prassanna & M.Saranya (2020)

Literature Review: - The author has tried many different steps to make the product design be simple
to understand. The author has explained calculating the requirement from computer and customize
the application for getting desired satisfaction. The author has also focused on the service part which
can either be remotely handled or visiting the site. Prassanna (2020) Trofeo design and develop
education related products which is successfully running in elementary school to big universities.
The author has listed offers in college library management for the given software in more than 10
libraries. The author has also promised that with the database optimizing features, each query
performance will be increased which in turns increase the sales and visitor’s satisfaction.

5. Research Paper:- Smart Production Planning and Control: Concept, Use-Cases and Sustainability
Implications
Oluyisola, O.E.; Sgarbossa, F.; Strandhagen, J.O. (2020)

Literature Review: - PPC Research process includes Data Analytics and BI methods and involving
IoT for PPC processes creates a “Smart PPC” which reduces the risk of creating mudas and generates
the emergence of smart manufacturing processes. The author has derived a solution of replacing
manual planners to system based planning methods which can be incorporated to reduce the losses
and gain the maximum Oluyisola (2020) listed the planning environment variables as product,
production process, and market (i.e., supply and demand processes) should dictate how industry 4.0
is approached, and consequently, each firm’s implementation of smart PPC.
