ACTIVITY 2

1. Describe your decision making process.

- For me first is that I must identify the problem, I must understand first the situation I am in
for me to identify the problem. I must think carefully and put myself into that situation if decision
making is a must. My decision would not be good if I do not identify the problem because maybe I
am giving a solution to a different problem. Next is to analyze carefully what I can do in order to
create a possible solution, it is one of a critical stage for me because the outcome would be from
these possible solution. After that I must think what would be the outcome for my solution, then if
it is good after breaking down the step by step process of that solution I’ll implement and adopt
that decision.

2. Cite a specific example where you can say that you made the right/wrong decision.

- My experience about making a decision is opening my own business. It is really hard for me
at first because I need to think of the capital, target market and many aspects of opening a
business. At first I think that I’ve made a wrong decision because I’ve encountered many problems
like the not organized recording of transactions, there are loss and I can’t see if there’s any profit.
But as I’ve learned from it, because of my failures there are some decisions that I know what to do,
what actions should I take and what steps should I go and as of now I can say that my business is
growing. Through my failures I’ve learned how to handle every situation in a right place. My
failures are the key for my success and through my good decision making skills

3. Is it easier to decide individually or by group? Justify.

- It is easier to decide by group, I know that it would take a lot of time but it is really worth the
wait, because the longer the process the best is the outcome. I like to decide by group because I can
gather a lot of information from my peers, because I know that we all have different perspective
and their every decision has a explanation why they’ve taken that decision, the diversity of views of
of the available opinions are present. I can gather expert opinions from my peers since I know that
I am not really that expert in a certain situation of that problem. I can also encourage other
people’s participation and promote greater interests.
