This Song saved my Life

I love music. Music is my hobby. It helps my mind calm down and listening wears down my
fatigue. Listening to them lifts up my spirit and it cheers me everytime I'm down. One song that
I really love is ' A Million Dreams' by Hugh Jackman. I love it so much. It feels soothing to the
soul. The imagery within makes you want to lie down and rest yourself away from fatigue . It's
especially helpful everytime I suffer depression. Because I'm susceptible to depression, I
especially try to be mindful of my mental condition and listening to this music alleviates it.
Everytime I am free; I play my cassette player while contemplating about personal matters. I'm
not the same as others in how I comfort myself, but I was confident that music can soothe
everyone's pain and sorrows. Although It wasn't a permanent solution, it can suppress any
thoughts of suicide, and if the song is something that speaks to their pains; they will feel that
there are still someone that can relate to what they feel. I attempted suicide. Suffering is living. I
know the pain of what they are feeling, and similarly, I know how to pull them out of it. While
attempting suicide is indeed a symbol of weakness, yyou can never blame them for attempting
it. Not any people is fortunate enough to overcome them and not any people is strong enough
to be strong. While living like that is agonizing, I believe no one want to die and just become a
speck of dust in the sky. I believe we can save ourselves; it's just how you want to struggle in
face of adversities and how you want to swim out of it. And as for me, I listen to music and
music saved me. Songs are like stories, and you can gleam the person's feeling in it. If you think
you are alone, try to listen to a song. Then ponder hard on the story within and you will feel
drawn to it's world if you can understand what it want to express. No matter how you take a
look at it, we don't have the right to end our existence. Living is suffering. While suffering is not
easy, you should not say that you will only live if you feel happy and dying when you feel empty.
After all the effort of our families in shaping our existence, living is the only thing that we can do
to reciprocate their sacrifices. Living is like the two sides of a coin; the other sides faces the sky
and the other faces the earth. We should struggle to see the light and savor the vastness of the
sky. Because living is inherently like that, so we should first taste the bitterness of life before
enjoying it. Let's try to go back to the time where we basked ourselselves in happiness and
genuinely smiled with our faces lighting the stars in brightness. Love your family. Make them
your strength. Find comfort in them. Be their strength while you battle and struggle against
fears. When you feel like the sun is cold and the moon losing it's shine because you feel yourself
rejected by the world . Cease the thought. Don't be afraid. Because there is one hand that will
never tire, and HE will always accept you no matter how many rejected you.
